The bread that started was excellent; the olive oil was just olive oil - could have used some balsamic or oregano... I ordered the chicken provencal special. It was tasty, although I am not partial to the really thin sliced chicken breast. The sautéed spinach with garlic was tasty; they could save a little money by using less oil.

The food is fine, but each time I visit this place the order isn't correct or they haven't placed it in the oven yet well after the 30 minutes they said it would take. This last time I was over charged and they couldn't find someone to correct it. You feel bad blaming the children running the show. The manager really has to get it together.

I left a excellent review here about 2 years ago, but sadly I can't say the same for this visit.Service was almost non existent, we got our food, nobody refilled our waters the whole time, nobody checked in if we need anything, servers were not very friendly, food was ok but not super good. Not sure what happened, but it's definitely going downhill.

So I went there the other night. As it is im very picky. If you know your going to have paint night have someone else with the other waitress! She wasn't that busy except the painting thing, food was awesome though but it's too small and horrible service. So I will not be back

We came here with a large family group. We were immediately seated (on a crazy Friday night--be sure to have reservations!!). Our waiter Tyler P was the best! Funny, helpful and attentive all in one package! Our food was hot and delicious! The acoustics left a little to be desired but there were so many people there, it couldn't be anything other than noisy!! Not the restaurants fault for sure. Can't wait to be back in the area and enjoy more of their delicious fare!!!

The Orrechiete with pancetta and fresh peas, served with a mascarpone cream sauce, was excellent. My mouth is still watering at the memory, 18 hours later. Also superb was the chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and fontina and served with a mushroom Marsala sauce. The green beans that accompanied the chicken were cooked perfectly al dente. Bravissimo!

This is a friendly, noisy, large restaurant, with very good Italian food, overall. The eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti ($15.95) was very good, but needed more sauce and less cheese. The chicken piccata ($16.95) was a bit dry, but came with very nice potatoes and overcooked green beans. The raviolis ($14.50) were excellent though and the salads quite good.Service was efficient and friendly.

Delicious food in a casual but classy setting. A cheese lover's dream-come-true. Arrive hungry; leave thinking you'll never eat anywhere else but Scalia & Co. Located next to a ShopRite in a strip mall, but when you walk in you're in a whole other world. (The strip mall location allows the owners to have this restaurant plus the Italian deli and specialty shop right next door.) Even the Caesar salad is wondrous. Mushroom pizza (single serving size); fried mozzarella; cannoli...I can't emphasize how delicious it all is.

We had an excellent Italian dinner at this very pleasant Italian restaurant near the Woodbury shopping center.Service was outstanding, the toilets were very clean, the decor is interesting and complex, and several dishes from the vast menu were beautifully prepared.Servings were very large, so sharing a single dish is a real option.
