Very delusions pastry and coffee. Cakes are also great, love this place in Abtwil because of nice interiors. It is not far from the bus stop (bus 7) and 15 min from St Gallen Train Station.

Ich war nun schon mehrmals in diesem schönen Lokal und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Von der herzlichen Begrüssung, über das feine Essen, der persönlichen Bedienung bis hin zu dem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Raum ist einfach alles hervorragend.Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

I was eating at Al Capone with my girlfriend. Had a pizza, which was very oily and not the quality I would expect (given the price). The salad my girlfriend was good. Would not choose pizza the next time.

This is a nice restaurant for family dinners and luncheons. The outside seating area (in the summer) is very casual. Inside the decor is very nice. most tables are set for larger groups. We have been here twice- once with a pre-set menu for a large group and just recently for a family lunch. Both were good. This recent visit, there was 8 people and we were given the full menu as well as the special Rosti menu. 6 of us opted for one of the Rosti specials and they were all good. The other items ordered were salads, Bratwurst plate, hamburger and desserts. Everything was very good.Dear GuestThank you very much for your review. Great restaurant. Menu is quite short, but very nice selection. Beautiful terrace with great view on St. Gallen. Food is delicious with great quality. Service excellent. Of course pricewise rather high, but typical swiss. Will com again!

A special occasion and a special occasion restaurant - a walk away from our apartment. Entering straight into the restaurant (like all Swiss restaurants we've seen, from an unimpressive facade) we were greeted by our waiter for the night - who proved to be a star from start to finish. Homely looking, comfortable and tastefully decorated room. I loved the fact that we had no choice - (the best meals I've eaten have always been where the chef presents you with their choice). We had the set 3 course meal with an extra course ... every course was full of interesting, complementary flavours and textures. Nothing disappointed, and throughout our waiter explained, in English for we typically embarrassing Brits, what was written in German. Nothing disappointed and impressed that Herr Blum checked we were enjoying our meal and thanked us at the end of the evening. Not cheap, we are in Switzerland, but good value.

This is a restaurant inside a brewery but you wouldnât know except that there is a beer menu. Sadly I was driving. We had a mixture of main courses, chicken on tandoori vegetables, rock lobster (crayfish) ravioli with polenta and spinach, good fish. Service friendly but waitresses struggle with High German. Stick to English. Prices quite high for the provinces . Parking round the back. Situated outside the central old town. Pity about the nasty muzak.

It was a very nice experienced. we followed red Michelin Guide recommendation and it was the right thing to do.Probably the second best restaurant I Sankt Gallen after Einstein.Very good food. Friendly and helpful staff.Very nice decor.I recommend any time. Lunch is more casual and probably in the terrace.Evenings are really nice inside. I really liked the decor !
