We stayed at this very good Hotel and ate the Friday fish buffet. I do not know about other evenings but this is 5* all the way and very good value by Omani prices. First tip is go for the wine option of 9 Rials unlimited wine it is very good value! Second look before you leap because they had at least 9 fish to choose from on the barbecue and the range of fish and crustaceans on the self-service area is immense. I loved the prawns, the spiced raw tuna, the oysters and lobster.We were all staggered that so much different sea food, including what we all thought were cold water fish, could be assembled in Oman.It was a wonderful evening and as seems endemic at the Crowne Plaza service was very good. Helpful, attentive but not over bearing. DâArcyâs Kitchen offers a superb value for money ratio with great tasting and fresh food and a lovely service. We visit the place every year during our yearly holidays in Muscat and will continue doing so in the future. This is a great restaurant to visit in Muscat in the winter. The chef was very accommodating and prepared some vegetarian dishes that were not on the menu for us. The place has an amazing view. We didnât try any of the drinks but the menu looked nice. They have some couches on the side where you can relax and get a few drinks with a view of the beach from up the mountain. We came here for lunch during the week and found the location to be inviting. The food was nothing special, with the fish of the day overcooked. Service is very friendly, so we enjoyed our time - but wouldn't come back (for the food).

We had a great dinner at Char! The food was awesome! I had the lobster and my husband a steak. Both was great and we would definetly recomend it. Especially the service was great. Sachin and Nasim had been great and made our evening special. Thank you, we will come again!

Great atmosphere, a fantastic pool and very reasonable prices for such an upmarket hotel. We were made to feel like welcome at the Wet Deck. Khaled personally made us feel like VIP guests at this 5 star hotel. Will visit again.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Al Bustan and had breakfast at the Al Khiran Kitchen. All freshly prepared, best quality, huge choice!Buffet in the evening very much the same. Just few things are precooked, else all live kitchen stations, great quality!

During my visit to Oman, visited this restaurant with a local friend for lunch. He insisted that, this is a restaurant, which is mostly frequented by the Indians and wanted me to experience it. We visited the restaurant, post peak hours, so there was not much crowd.The buffet spread was elaborate and the food was fantastic. The food retained the flavors of India, while at the same time being not too spicy.Overall, enjoyed the food, the ambiance and also understood that the cover charge was reasonable.
