On first sight this establishment appears to be a bar / lounge. The "restaurante" sign is hardly visible due to its background. However, we are glad we tried it as is was a pleasant experience of well prepared and presented (perhaps over-presented) fare with lots of complimenting tastes on each plate.The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The bill was reasonable and accurate.There is a lower,more expansive terrace that looks out over the bay.Accessibility facilities were clearly well designed into the concept of this venture. Well done on that!Thank you for taking the time to comment and rate your experience at our restaurant. It is important for us to know firsthand the experience our customers have had. Called to the Highlander after seeing garden lights from a distance.We were served straight away order taken and beers arrived.The steak pie with fresh chips delicious. Husbands medium cod outstanding crispy flaky fish and chips .Got a portion of curry sauce amazing.We were full but tried a dessert sugar overload cream overload and the name Lumpy does not do it credit.Service was pleasant and attentive itâs not fine dining but excellent pub grub.

Friendly, cheerful staff who do best to make the dining experience memorable. The food quality and choice is very good. Desserts fine and chocolate crepe excellent. Drinks and wine decently priced. Owner/Chef delightfully enthusiastic who is obviously proud of his fine restaurant. Worth finding, highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant every day for our breakfast during our trip, after the first morning they knew exactly what we wanted. Even if we walked past later on on our way to the beach etc the staff would always come out to say hello to us. Brilliant staff brilliant place

I absolutely love this place, I have been before but this time I went with my friend who hadn't been before, she was also very impressed. Again the food did not disappoint. It as always was amazing, freshly prepared and delivered by Miet and Davy, who clearly love what they do and are very good at it. The only issue we had was deciding what to eat, there was so much to choose from, if we had enough time we would have gone back again.

We went here several times in the last fortnight, both for steaks and a carvery. Not only is the service amazing and very welcoming, but the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The restuarant was quietly secluded, so a lovely setting for a special occasion! Great value too. Cannot wait to return here.

My first holiday abroad with my uncles and we ate here twice during our 2 week holiday. Both times the food was absolutely amazing, could not fault it. The chicken croquettes are delectable and very Moreish, Steaks were cooked to perfection, the lamb is soft and tender and the brownie is delicious. Gian(I hope I spelt that correctly) is an amazing host, so friendly and greets everyone as old friends. I cannot wait to go here again in the future. You will need to book in advance, as the restaurant is quite small and gets very busy- with good reason. Try it, you wonât regret it!!

Ok so the food was fair, as you would expect, slightly pricey but maybe some of your cash gos towards the location which is excellent.Very miserable table service today at lunchtime 9th Oct, waiter seemed quite abrupt and made it clear there were places he would rather be. As I mentioned the food seemed reasonable and deserves a 3 star but this staff member let the place down so I'm giving a 2 star. I doubt I'll return as there are other places to try.Thanks for the review. We hate to have enjoyed that from our service. Normally the service is high in the vaporium. Don't know what happened, but I assure you that next time you won t be disappointed.Regards Team Harbour Club

The location is excellent overlooking the marina with inside and outside seating. Friendly and helpful staff. We chose the vegetable curry with rice, popadoms and tasty dips- as recommended and it was perfect. One portion of tasty cheesecake to follow more than enough for 2.
