The terrace at this restaurant is lovely with beautiful views across the golf course. It has a very relaxed feel and a varied menu. They also have great live music, one young girl in particular has a fantastic voice. Their pizzas are the best around but also a lovely place to stop in and have coffee or a sundowner. Very family friendly.

We (mum/dad/15 month old), had dinner here the first few nights of the holiday.Really friendly staff, accommodating with the Mrs and babies lactose free issue which was very helpful.Good high chair, cold beer, excellent ribs and football on TV to distract the baby so mum and dad could have 5 mins to enjoy dinner which was very welcome!

We recently visited this restaurant as the reviews suggested it was suitable.I was somewhat disappointed as I felt it's not really family friendly, I suppose the fact that there's no kid's menu might have warned us. The view, I must admit is good, but the service was poor and the food was only average. Dry, over cooked calamari is not what I expected, will not be returning.

Very nice terrace, this restaurant has an interesting menu of oriental dishes, tajines, couscous, also wild boar. You would definitely go for the friendliness of the English spoken service. Good house wine at 13⬠the bottle. It is difficult to access to get there

Decided to eat here based on TA reviews, but our experience was different from other reviewers. We ordered a club sandwich, sparkling water & Cana. Waiter brought drinks to other tables, but not us. He stopped back & asked a 2nd time what drinks we wanted.Sandwich arrived and was a bit different with a runny egg atop. The slices of chicken breast were a bit under cooked. The ham had one edge with fat. Only the bottom slice of bread had a tiny amount of mayonaise. There was no lettuce but other greens.Flys were everywhere and kept landing on the runny egg part of the sandwich. I finally gave up battling them over my lunch. We asked for the check & again, there was a wait. The waiters were seating others, cleaning tables & taking orders. Our waiter apologized when he brought the check. I am not sure if I would return and give it another try.

We stopped here for lunch as it was our last day in Spain. Normally we do the tapas from the bar, which are freshly made and delicious. However on this visit we shared a lovely mixed salad and lightly battered haddock, which came with some french fries. Everything was well presented and tasted excellent. Terrific value and in a great spot for people watching.

We have been coming to Duquesa for a few years but itâs the first time we have tried this excellent restaurant, WOW! Wish we had found it sooner. The food was first class, so good we returned twice more. Friendly service and great view across the port, also as itâs inside you donât get the interruption from the hawkers. The salt fish was wonderful. Definitely our new favourite

We stumbled across this restaurant looking for somewhere to eat for 8 people. The town was really busy but the waiter took time to sort a table for us. The food was amazing and really good value for money

Spend a lot of time in Spain so have eaten in la taberna many times. The food and service is fantastic, that is why I have introduced many of my friends to it. The girls would know me and there would always be a big welcome. But on Tuesday the 27th August we arrived at 9.15 pm and a gentleman met us at the door and we were told we normally close at 10 but tonight we close at 9 and directed us to other restaurants in the area. On this occasion I think customer relations need to be reviewed. We were regular customers and would be dining there all over the winter when all the holiday makers had gone home. Itâs at a time like this you realize how much you are appreciated. Very dissappointed.Dear customer, We are sorry we had to close earlier than normal but unfortunately due to a high number of diners, the kitchen actually ran out of food and as we are an a la carte restaurant, all dishes are cooked fresh to order.We would urge all customers to book in advance a table during the high season thus avoiding disappointment. Apologies once again as this was an isolated instance due to lack of stock and so many customers. Regards Debbie and Steven Marlow.

I visit this restaurant every trip as its always great food and service. I had a fantastic tortellini with a spicy tomato sauce to start followed by a fillet steak with jacket potato. The meat was superb and the service excellent. Our waiter Antonio has been looking after me for 20 years at La Traviata and also at Mandarin palace before. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Duquesa port and it also has a great view.
