We had breakfast here. Coffee was limited to weak brown stuff, but coffee in general is not good in Bocas. The breakfast bagels and omelets are decent, but they use processed cheese which is basically like orange chemical vinyl. Bacon and meat portions are skimpy. Really, you get better food for the same price in most places in North America. One might expect (or seek) better when vacationing. Still, breakfasts are weak in Bocas town, and in absence of much stiffer competition, you might be okay starting your day here. Just bring your own coffee maker, and perk up at your hotel, and order your huevos sin queso.

We visited Buena Vista twice while in Bocas for a dive vacation. I really enjoyed the curry dish and my daughter enjoyed the burger options. Great place and good service even in a large group. Our friend is vegetarian and he had a dish delivered with chicken in it. The staff was so amazing at handling the situation and even gave him a free drink. Really nice place with plenty of inexpensive or more elaborate options.

That's what I call the place,nightmare marina,if you are staying in the Marina,you better get a shrink for future advise,it's a nice marina if the management would be nice too,that's were you get your nightmare,first think is that this restaurant had around 8 owners in 8 Years,because nobody could get alone with the owners or the management.the security is not good at all,there not even have night vision cameras for security,and there call them self 5 star marina,il give them maybe 1 Star.....

I was in the mood for some pizza. And regardless of the negative reviews pertaining to the service, I decided to give this place a shot.It's huge and there aren't enough waiters/waitresses to take care of all the customers once this place gets packed. There were only 5 of us sitting there when I placed my order at around 6:30pm.Didn't have to wait for more than a minute for my Happy Hour drink and my pizza arrived much quicker than I thought it would. It was quite tasty and the size just right for dinner.By then the place was now nearly full and it did take a long time for me to first get my bill, then pay, and then receive my change. So yeah, I'd say that by 7:00pm-7:30pm service goes down the crapper because they are simply short-staffed.And since the service charge is added to your bill, there is not much you can do about it.Still for good and affordable pizzas, Bocas Bambu Beach is a good option. Just get there early to take advantage of Happy Hour and place your order while you're enjoying your drink.

Stayed next door at Turtle Beach House and ate 2 dinners out of 6 at Island Plantation and most lunches at their beach bar across the street directly on the beach, which is also great to chill and watch the surf. Accommodated our group of 10 with last mintue reservations on each occasion. This is a fairly new place and has the amazing chef Chris who wa the owner of Casbah. He is excellent. The owners are wonderful and make sure every guest is greeted and made to feel welcomed and appreciated. The food is great and you will not be disappointed. Definitely eat here, the food can only be described as amazing. We ate here a few times during our stay and it was always wonderful. The service is excellent the space and vibe is truly magic. Food preparation was innovative and always delicious with ample portions and reasonable prices. If there was six stars available i would give it to this place!
