The Gallery cafe is the internal restaurant of the rather fabulous Hyatt Place hotel in Hoofddorp (in my opinion the Place to be in Hoofddorp, the best of the airport oriented hotels). The Hyatt has free parking and free breakfast, but the food at the Gallery Cafe is far from free, it is actually quite expensive ... similar to the food at the Marriott Courtyard actually. But the quality is outstanding. Service very friendly and welcoming. Food was good but not stellar - I enjoyed the beef rendang. With 29 euros for the main course, one big beer (7 euroos!!) and a side of vegetables it was VERY expensive.

We have been here thrice, and tried different sandwiches, as well as fresh fruit and coffee, it has always been good. The staff is super nice, and helpful. The interiors are charming, though a bit tight.

My wife and I were recommended here by a new friend we meet the same day and had been here the night before. Lovely menu selection and superbly cooked food! Our waiter was most helpful in explaining the Dutch menu to us. Great atmosphere and if you at staying in Hoopsdorf come here! I understand from our waiter the restaurant is only 3 weeks old and a family run establishment. We wish you well and keep up the good work!

We stopped a quick coffee at this lovely spot in a side street. The lady was super friendly. Coffee was fabulous with a mini waffle on the side. We watched the passing traffic like real locals.

A smaller coffee place nestling right next door to a well known competitor, so easily overlooked.Window seats were swings (fastened so you couldn't swing through the window!) which immediately set it apart as quirky.Lovely staff, catering for all, followed a sign language conversation between one of the staff and a customer.We just wanted coffee and appeltaart and found this much to our liking, especially as there was a special offer, making it about half the price that we have found it for elsewhere. The toasties looked amazing, so we will have to come back on our next visit to Holland and try some out.Dear Engelsman, Thank you for your great review and your recommendation. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked about 1km to get here and were very happy that we did. My wife had catch of the day and I had a ribeye, both of them were very good. The restaurant is a cross between a farm style and modern looking restaurant, the decor was very nice. If we're ever travelling thru the area again, we're definitely going to stop in and enjoy another meal here.

Quite basic on dinner options and not all of them that nice.I really didnât like the pizza or the pasta but I enjoyed rib eye. The bar has some good offering on shared dishes . What a great final dinner before seeing the family off tomorrow at the airport. Burgers are wonderful. The spicy fried extremely flavorful. And the salads were also good. But Bob the burger man at Brute is the man. He wonât steer you wrong, will explain the nuances of the menu, etc. Who knew Hoofddorp served up some rockinâ burgers. Go to Brute. Youâll love it!
