I had been to Nandavan for Brkfst and we had puri bhaji poha and Misal Pav authetic maharashtrian style mean. The Platter was garnished simply but it had the warmth of Home cooked meal. As soon as i had my first Bite it was evident its not just the looks but this is a great homely meal to its core. Its as good as one's mother makes it. It is run by locals and the food here shows there love affection and passion to give to you the best hospitality one can experience. the staff is also very very good. the hotel is jst besides the Bus stand so u can relish their Tasty dishes while you wait for a bus at very affordable price.

The food quality is extremely good, the ambience is an replica of traditional konkan houses. What I liked was the attention to detail in service and the selection of utensil for serving each kind of order.

The food quality and taste is very good at very low price. It is simple khanaval or lunch home... The food is simple homemade...with one vegetable one raas bhaji..koshimbir...two chapati...varan and rice....there is lot of rush... so u have to wait for ur food...We found that number of tables should be increased as there is lot of tourists and travellers having a stop at sawantwadi and specially vegetarians opting for sadhale mess.. we had to wait for 40mins to find a table...

They have delicious thalis and quite a few thali choices... Their rava fried prawns are awesome !!! In fact we parcelled a portion on our way back home.. The ambience - well, you've go to adjust, but when the food is so good all's worth it..

This is local style Khanawal...sort of food mess. There is ample parking place near the restaurant.This is typical Konkan coastal seafood place. It is simple and homely. The quality of food is excellent and very fresh. Fish is the way to go here. One can get Chappati's, Roti, Bhaakri , Vada to go with tasty fish curries. Rice is a given to fish eaters so that is served in plenty after you conquer the main course !!!
