We went for my birthday this has become a very social occasion and many friends and family join us, in all the years we have been doing this it is never a problem to seat us all and to serve us all in good time. Not sure why people are marking this restaurant down ?We went on a Saturday night and it was almost full but the service was very attentive without being overbearing.The food was as good as any Indian meal weâve ever had, especially for the price which was £60 for two, including poppadoms, starters and six drinks between us.The main aspect that made the food so good was the flavours rather than the spicy heat, which was also just right too.The chef seems to put lots of thought into their food preparation and the food didnât seemed just âchurned outâ like many other Indian restaurants.The internal decor was lovely and not what you would expect from New Road in Chatham !! A really nice surprise.We went following a recommendation from a client of ours and a few other people sat close by mentioned to waiters/waitresses that they too had been recommended.We will definitely go back and would happily recommend to others.A very good quality local Indian restaurant.

Reserved a table for my partners birthday weeks in advance. Arrived a few minutes before reservation and the place was totally chaotic. A massive queue consisting mainly of people ordering takeaways but finally managed to speak to one of the staff who said no tables dree yet, you'll just have to wait and simply left us standing there, no drink offered or approximate waiting time. A group of about 8 then arrived with no reservation and asked for a table. It seemed they were known to the staff and after about 15 minutes were asked to be seated. We along with another couple that had now been waiting over 30 minutes decided after no more assistance to leave. Never again will I book to dine here. Shocking treatment and busy does not mean customer service should become non existent.

The restaurant was extremely busy but service was attentive and the food was served without any significant delay. It was great to find that the lamb with okra dish had been prepared from scratch. So many places barbecue the lamb on skewers first and then add it to a sauce. All of the dishes tasted freshly prepared and the wine list was reasonably priced.

Checked out Indian take aways on Trip Adviser and this one gave recent positive reviews. The were not wrong! We had a variety of dishes selected from their menu which were delivered on time and well packed and labelled. Quality superb and good value too.. Are here recently with my wife, table booked at 6.30pm. Surprisingly quite busy when we arrived, even at that early time. Decor and ambience very good & modern, service very good too. We had starters of onion bhajia and meat samosaâs, with poppadoms too (and chutneys). I had a lamb dish and my wife a chicken dish, with pilau rice, naan bread and Bombay potatoes. Both were chefâs specialities, and very good indeed. With a few drinks each, the bill came to just over £80 quid. A bit more expensive than your average curry house, but the quality of the food and service made it very much worthwhile. Iâd say itâs a place to go for a treat or to spoil yourself, and for either of those, you canât go wrong. Weâll definitely go back and I thoroughly recommend !!

We wanted to find a true South Indian dining experience for some homesick relatives and this was a great tip from Hyderabadi friends. Sunday lunch offered Dosa , Idli and some genuine family favorites. The Dosas were great, Palak Ghosh was delicious and biryani too. Owners and staff were very friendly and lastly the price was fair. Will go again

Our first time visiting and weâve left very impressed! The food was amazing, great portions and absolutely delicious! The service was brilliant, the waiters are polite, attentive but not overbearing and donât try to rush you. We will definitely be back :)
