We are in one of the newest developments in the Tampa area. The hotel is located near 3 new shopping malls, The Cypress Creek is Town Center 1/4 mile, The Shoppes at Wiregrass which is 2 miles and The Grove which is 4 miles. Many restaurants and movie theaters are also nearby. We are a few minutes from Highwoods Preserve Corporate Park which is located on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. in the new Tampa area. The hotel is less than 10 miles from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Water Park. Discount tickets for both attractions are available at the hotel. Our guests receive complimentary wireless High Speed Internet Access, On the House hot breakfast or On the Run Breakfast Bag Monday through Friday. Smallest Hotel Room I've Used in 30 Years
Reviewed By Roy CThe last time I stayed in a room this small was in London, England, about 30 years ago. There was too much furniture for the room size. The clerk had the personality of a potato and did not greet or thank me for being an Honors member. There was no extra blanket in the room as we had requested with our reservation. The room was dark and quiet, though. But the shower water pressure was weak. I knew it would be as it had a Waterpik shower head. They are always poorly maintained and slow the flow of water as the deposits build up inside them. The bathroom sink drained poorly. It either was party blocked or poorly installed. On the plus side, there was a nightlight in the bathroom. The desk chair must have had a bad spring, because leaning back in it nearly put me on the floor. Internet speed tested at 10 Mbps both directions.

Reviewed By Mariana BI needed to plan an executive corporate event for my company. I was a little concerned as I wanted everything to go great but I needed to plan everything remotely. But with the help of their personnel, I was able to plan it with no issues and the event was fantastic! The event coordinators (Alexis and Jeff) are a must to work with if you want your event to be flawless! The executive meeting room was very confortable and we had a snack bar that kept our stomach full during the whole event!

After using a popular blind deal service, I felt almost disappointed that we were staying here because it was the cheapest of possibilities, but I was so wrong! The hotel was very well appointed, very clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly. Luis checked us in at the desk and was super personable, kind and friendly. He made sure to let us know that there would be popcorn and cookies in the lobby, and advised us on breakfast time as well! Our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well and nicely appointed with a shower with an actual glass door (spotless!) instead of a shower curtain. When dinner time came, there were tons of close by options to choose from because of the proximity of the hotel to everything! Breakfast at the hotel was typical but well stocked and tasty. Overall, this was a great hotel with a great deal and we will definitely stay here again, as we frequently stay the night because of the nearby ice rink. They’ve totally won us over from the other hotel we usually stay at in town. This hotel was clean if not cleaner, nicely appointed and much more affordable!

Solo Travels Beware! Not safe!

I thought at first someone was at the wrong door, then possibility my room was doubled booked and in moments I was fighting for my life to keep my door shut from man claiming he needed to check on the toilet. He had a key and keep yelling at me that he had the right to come in my room. At this point I was screaming I’m not dressed, I’m calling the police and there is nothing wrong with the toilet. He just kept laughing while still trying to come inside. Once the front deck come to my aid. I was told he was the head of maintenance and he had a key that bypasses all locked doors! They were sorry for what he had done and how he acted. But they were struggling to find good workers and they had not trained him. Police were called and I changed hotels that night.

Unprofessional and intentionaly rude
Reviewed By chipforex101Me and my wife arrived in Tampa after a long drive from Boca Raton Florida. We booked a room with a Kings size bed on Priceline and was very excited to get to our room. Upon entering the Hotel at approx. 1030pm on 5/5/2022 we noticed the Front desk was empty. So we decided to have a seat and wait for someone to come help us check into our room. We waited for a good 7-10 minutes before we saw a woman walking across the lobby from a dark lit area slowly taking her time as she approached the front desk. There was not any pleasantries or any welcoming or inviting facial expressions or words, Just can I have a drivers License and credit card,after I had said we would like to check -in we have reservations. She looked up our reservation told us our room number and that was it. Upon riding the elevator we noticed she never explained anything about the hotel or how to get on Wi-fi or any of the normal conversation you would normally have upon entering a hotel. we just shrugged it off and looked forward to sleeping after a 4hour drive. When we entered the room it had two single beds? We called the front desk and said we have a reservation for a king size bed we have 2 single beds. At which time she became annoyed and explained that was what they had available right now. She said if you want a King size Bed I can put you into room 126 on the first floor. I agreed and went to the front desk to turn in my key and pick up another one. When i walked up to the desk she was having a personal conversation and ignored us for a time until her conversation was ended. The was not a customer but a friendly conversation with a person she knew personally. When she finished the conversation she made no eye contact nor any conversation as much to say she was not happy to help us or even act politely and professional. When we get to our room 126 it has a terrible odor. It was a room that permits smoking and did make it hard for me to breath since I have asthma . My wife wanted to complain but I suggested that its better to just accept the room since she is looking for confrontation it seemed. This was a horrible experience. Upon checking out we mentioned to the front desk what had happened. Our confirmation number was., 3253066336

I have only stayed at Residence Inn a couple of times before & was overall pleasantly surprised in a positive way with the property. There’s a rooftop bar & restaurant here too, which is decent a few lite bites & a full bar. The room we stayed in was still very new & comfortable. We were upgraded to overlook the arena/lake arena behind the property. We were here for my sons soccer tournament & it was good spot for the event.

Never have I enjoyed a stay this much. The rooms are modernly furnished with lots of small extras and everything is super clean. Wished we could stay longer.

We just kept telling ourselves - "It's only one night"
Reviewed By U610DMnickwDriving to Tampa from Orlando we stopped at several hotels and searched online for anything reasonable in price and close to I-4. The best rate we could find was $192. I finally called this place, though I don't usually stay at this brand it was the least expensive I could find. On the plus side, the staff and especially Jackie was pleasant and helpful. That was the plus. After getting settled into our room we started to notice little things. First was the urine smell. It seemed to be strongest in the bathroom. Then we noticed scratch marks on the inside of the bathroom door. We were hoping it was a dog that had been closed in there. The bed covers showed cigarette burns and were not a pleasant color. The floors appeared to have been upgraded as had some of the bathroom fixtures, but the main room looked like it must have 30 years ago. The accompanying photo shows the light fixture without a shade. Even though this was well below what the other hotels were asking, it was the worst dump I've ever had to pay $135 for!! I was hoping the staff would ask how things were when I checked out, but they just checked me out without a word. They must know.

Clean , close to every thing but most of all the staff here is amazing over been here 4 months now and I've never been treated so well they really care here about there guests being happy Bridget and Oscar goes out of her way to help any one and every one they can to feel safe and have all there needs met to best of her ability . Good people from the hotel housekeepers to the front desk as well as management . Wanna say thank you for making my stay by far the best hotel experience I've had and I've been staying in hotels for the past 4 years so I've been in them all Love this location
