Reviewed By dorothyo342Superb location next to the beach and surrounded by great little restaurants. Excellent accommodation and decent food at breakfast. Helpful staff made this stress free and so relaxing. Even though the hotel was full it didn't feel like it. Great that there is a pool on the roof which we used when it was too cool to swim in the sea.

Reviewed By joeroMy wife and I are back from a week stay in the Sesimbra Hotel & Spa. We were both very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is spotless . The staff throughout the hotel are very nice and helpful. The Pool area is lovely with lots of sunbeds. The room was very spacious with a good size bathroom and a good shower which were always cleaned to perfection . The balcony is also a good size with a stunning view but the sun did not quite shine on ours but it was lovely to sit out at anytime such was the great weather. We were on the tenth floor. There was a good choice at breakfast like breads, juices,cereals,fruit, pastries and hot food ( we would have liked to see some changes to the hot food during the week though). The location was great and close to the town center , restaurants, bars, cafe,s bus station. I would highly recommend the Sesimbra Hotel and Spa.

For what I paid this was a great find
Reviewed By johnwE704IWBooked this based on location and price. I was there to do some diving and this hotel was on the doorstep. Driving to it is not straight forward, especially if you just want to drop someone off. Once inside, reception staff were there to instantly greet me. From other hotels I have stayed in before in Portugal, they just require an ID e.g. your driving licence.. I had 4 forms of ID with me but they insisted they needed my ID number!! I explained to them that British people do not have an ID number. Luckily I remembered my passport number so they accepted that. They then gave me a brief of where everything was. The hotel itself was clean and tidy. It has an indoor heated pool, great for this time of year, and an outdoor pool. There is a bar with some fantastic views of the beach, especially from it veranda. I'd say this without a doubt is the selling point of the hotel. Rooms are on 9 floors split into 2 complexes. Therefore you need to take a lift down to floor 5, walk along the corridor to then get into lifts for floors 1 to 5. This also takes you to the beach from where you can exit (reception is top floor where the car park is). The room was lovely and did the job. Great view from it as well. Minus points, the TV was the size of an i-pad and there was no kettle or tea/coffee. Bar prices were ok e.g. it was 5.50 euro for a pint of Heineken. breakfast was a mixture of continental and cooked, but it didn't start until 8am which was a bit of an issue for me having to be at the dive centre by 8:30. Over all I would happily stay there again at the price I paid. Location is great and views fantastic.

Ideal for those looking to relax and be in contact with nature, enjoy the peace and quiet of this region and also forget about everyday concerns. We are a small Pousada with 7 rooms, all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV with 125 channels + radio stations and wardrobes, we are open to the world since 2017. We have a different concept in terms of accommodation, our goal is that all of our guests feel at home with us.

We would love to come back and, of course, recommend Buganvílias do Meco if you plan to stay in the lovely region of Meco!

Beautiful Boutique Rooms but sadly not all with Sea View
Reviewed By AriSinclairOriginally a really beautiful room but it was sold as a room with sea view, while we had no sea view at all - we looked in a alley with a fast food store. If it wasn't advertised as sea view room it wouldn't be a problem but like this it feels a bit odd. Also, one of the lamps were missing a light bulb. Otherwise really beautiful room and hotel in general with a nice boutique flair. Location is great and just on one of the main squares (while still being quite) with nice breakfast. We also really appreciate the Covid hygiene standard: Every customer had to not just wear masks but also had their own "cuttlery" to retrieve food from the buffet. Service 9/10 Location 10/10 Breakfast 9/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Room/Facilities 6/10 Price Value 9/10 (€64,26 in Feb)

She made recommendations on where to eat and the options for taxi's etc. The room was spacious and well decorated, as was the rest of the property. The pool was wonderful and populated with lots of sunbeds and towels for us to use. Vila De Sol has BBQ's that guests can use as well as communal fridges, complimentary tea and coffee and a large communal lounge available. We would definitely return to this wonderful accommodation. Thank you.

Reviewed By LiliPirs87This is a fantastic place near Lisbon, about 40 minutes by car. It is ideal to relax from the bustle of the city, around nature, forest, you can drive to the nearest wild beaches (5-7 minutes). The mini-hotel itself is very comfortable, the outside has an eco-pool, the rooms are stylish, everything is new and sooooo clean, the breakfast is delicious with local products, the hostess is insanely cute and can always help, definitely 5 stars from me! recommend

The property comprises of 6 one bedroom bungalows and 1 studio apartment each with its own: Double bed (Twin beds in the studio), Sofa, Bathroom, Kitchen, TV, free WiFi and Fireplace. Each house is also equipped with its own barbecue. All the guests have free access to the private car park, the swimming pool and its facilities.
