I heard good things about Beach Hotel chain but actually... Maresias one doesn't worth the price!
Reviewed By Rafael C1) rooms number 62 is terrible. Wifi doesn't work, bathroom is really small and the finishing is not compatible with the hotel price. Rooms 30's are better finished with a great balcony with bigger bathroom but showers are not that good as well. But definitely if you will stay in this hotel avoid the rooms numbers 60's, not worth. 2) breakfast is ok, but if you want a Brazilian Tapioca be ready to fight to get one. They prepare by order but without any sequence or order control and anyone get anything skiping the line. 20min later when you ask for yours they say it was delivered to another person and you need to wait again. Seriously, it happened all 3 days of my stay, every morning and I saw many guests arguing with that. I gave up to try and decided to get another things. They really do a mess the mess to prepare it for the costumers 3) the strong part of this hotel is the beach service and the pool with an nice kids playground 4) foods are good and beer was cold as it should be but avoid order the deserts, I tried 3 of them, none was neither close to be good, it is better to take an popsicle at the beach

Good family hotel for during pandemic
Reviewed By S JGreat family hotel with lots of open spaces and fresh air. Pool is great for kids and adults, food is good, bed is comfy and cleaning services were good. Good location near other restaurants ( many have closed during pandemic), drug store and markets. Easty choice to enjoy beach with kids. Kids menu available, several play areas available inside and out. Lots of fresh air, open doors and windows. We weren't too picky about services since all hospitality has been suffering the past year, but any request was met quickly and with a smile. We had a pleasant stay despite wintery weather.

At the moment, we serve the breakfast options in the room and they are not included on the room rate. So it's optional. Amazing homemade bread loafs and cakes. Pousada Pé da Mata, owned and managed by Raquel and and fantastic team, is located in a middle of Mata Atlântica, in an area of 80.000 m². The inn is surrounded by an amazing fauna and flora, where the silence is only broken by the birds singing. There are 15 chalets, 5 with kitchen, 5 without kitchen and 5 suites. You can enjoy the beach that is only 1800m from the inn and many different trails in the region, that can take you to water falls or amazing sight seeing of the sea. The inn has an adult pool and a kids pool, and parking included. All rooms have TV, AC, mini fridge and Netflix. The inn has one accessible unit per availability. Currently following all safety procedures, with a very well trained staff. At Pousada Pé da Mata, you can feel the great energy from nature and people. We love being here and welcoming you! Oh and we love your pet too! ♡, they are very, very welcome.

Reviewed By amandita1999We had mixed emotions while staying here. It wasnt very friendly, the staff didnt seem too happy to have kids around. The bar restuarant was ´open´ until 20:00. We actually never saw anyone behind the bar and to order you had to track a worker down to order. It is far from the beach on not such a great road. You need a car if you want to stay here. The setting is WONDERFUL! The chalets excellent and clean. You can cook yourself and they had all the facilities you needed to do that. The pool is big, lovely and clean. The staff asked our kids to be quiet 2 boys aged 3 & 6yrs. They were just jumping in the pool and we were alone around the pool, so not bothering anyone. The breakfast were nice BUT again the staff not very friendly. We loved Maresias for the beaches , beautiful setting of the Pousada, shame about the unfriendliness. Wifi terrible... but you are in the forest/jungle setting.

Reviewed By Nina MHotel is beautiful and clean, 2 short blocks to the beach. Staff is great! They offer beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. It was so great that we went twice in a 2-week vacation period. Also, we accidentally left our passport in our room. They sent it overnight to where we were staying in Sao Paulo city, just in time for our flight home. I can't wait to go back!

Reviewed By CARMEL_T579On holiday here at the moment. On arrival greeted by Wagner who was charming. He advised us our room had been upgraded. This was unexpected and nice(?) the room was bigger but we would have preferred one without the mould (see photos). we have been traveling through out Brazil and this was the first hotel / pousada that didn't have water in the room for us. We went to use the jacuzzi which was filthy!! Told reception. Lady advised 'I know'!! Só if you know why haven't you done something about it!!?? Went for meal in hotel restaurant Chicken was undercooked and husband suffered badly next day!! Could not relax in room due to building works and hammering!! Tried to use gym / fitness centre BUT this is not available!! Pool area never cleaned (see photos) when only us and one other family on site this is not acceptable!! Can't relax by pool due to building works!! Only positive is the breakfast staff / girl who was very charming helpful and friendly. Was supposed to stay longer to meet friends from Sao Paulo and San Jose dos Campos but will be leaving here tomorrow. Very dissatisfied and dissapointed!!

Reviewed By GabasjpGood and simple place, Isn't very convenient to go in general because you will need a car and a map, specially if it's the first timer... They could speak english and spanish, but don't expect to the other places to do so... We went with a large group of friends and it was ok.

Reviewed By David SI always stay hotels commencing Monday when it is usually quieter and cheaper....this hotel has spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a large bathroom with strong shower and constant hot water, fast rate WiFi, a bar next to its own swimming pool and jacuzzi. It is situated in front of the beach and you can take towels, chairs and sunshades supplied by the hotel..the staff are very attentive and will rectify anything within minutes..the breakfast is extensive...this is the best hotel in Boiçucanga...
