Great service, location and value
Reviewed By EasyGoingMidwestGuyEverything about Pousada Canto Nossa was great, starting from my initial booking when Rogerio responded very quickly and thoroughly to a couple questions I had. The check-in process was easy and straightforward and even though we arrived early, we were able to get into our rooms. The rooms are simple but very clean, including the bathroom and shower. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was great, the standard Brazilian mix of meats, cheeses, breads and juices. They will make eggs for you upon request. Rogerio gave us suggestions on where to go or walk and went out of his way to help us get to the bus station in Nova Frigurgo when our driver was a no-show! The location is great, right off the main street in São Pedro and easy to walk to the praca or to restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay and great value with an owner who has your satisfaction top of mind! This is hard to find in Brazil... Highly recommended!

Reviewed By ctirreJá faz algum tempo em que estivemos por aqui... Ficamos no mesmo chalé (que fica no alto) e continua tudo ótimo!!! O chalé tem dois quartos e uma cozinha auxiliar, que acomoda bem uma família pequena. Só de deve ter atenção para o acesso ao chalé, que é feito por uma escada íngreme. Pode prejudica o acesso para algumas pessoas, mas eles tem outras opções de quartos.

Chalé excelente mas, péssima localização
Reviewed By isaliraO chalé em si, é bem bom, muito bonito, limpo, organizado, boas camas, roupas de cama e banho ok (mas, que não foram trocadas nos 4 dias em que ficamos lá). Com rede na varanda e banquinho de madeira bem confortáveis. Fomos recebidos pela D. Loudes, que oscilava entre momento de simpatia e grosseria. O sr. Antonio com quem só falamos pelo Whatsapp, também era dificil, antes de fecharmos foi bem simpático, depois que fechamos e pagamos o sinal, tivemos que alterar um dia, e ele foi bem grosseiro, mas, fez a alteração. A cozinha não é bem equipada, por exemplo, fomos em 5 e tinham 4 pratos, 4 talheres, nenhuma faca grande, só tinha um pano de prato. (quando pedimos mais, ela reclamou, mas, deu mais um garfo). Não tinha frigideira, mas, tinha outras duas panelas. Nós perguntamos previamente sobre isso, pq pretendíamos comer por lá todos os dias, o que n foi possível pela falta de estrutura. Um dia acordamos e tinha 2 sacos de cimento de 50kg no banquinho da varanda, que ocupava praticamente toda a varanda, nós mesmos tivemos que tirar para poder sentar, pois não achamos ninguém para isso. Além disso, não tinha onde jogar lixo (ainda bem que tinhamos sacolas de mercado para fazer de lixo, pq lá não tinha nenhuma) e levar para jogar na cidade, pois a D. Loudes disse que não tinha onde jogar, e não podíamos deixar no chalé por causa dos inúmeros cachorros que aparecem por lá, vc gostando ou não Mas, o maior problema do chalé (e talvez o único que me faria não voltar pra la de jeito nenhum) é a localização. O acesso com carro baixo é praticamente impossível, e mesmo carro alto (se não for 4x4) sofre bastante para chegar. Estávamos com um jeep e quando chovia, não conseguíamos voltar para o chalé com tranquilidade, a pé é quase impossível tbm, é muito longe, e a estrada de barro é estreita, escura e de pura subida. Na descrição não está claro essa distância, ou dificuldade de acesso. O preço é ok, mas, o desgaste do carro não compensa.

Reviewed By snowbird15This Pousada is located a little above the town, but definitely within walking distance. We took a taxi from and to the train station because of luggage but otherwise walked for sightseeing. Very peaceful location and sweet staff. Would definitely stay again.
