Very Beautiful Farm Hotel with Lovely Owners
Reviewed By andreacamargo1107The hotel is located in a beautiful farm at São Francisco Xavier. Its chalets are confortable and nicely equiped with a fire place. The premises are lovely including a river with water falls and natural swiming pools, walking tracks with gorgeous views and tennis courts. The breakfast is wonderful and healthy with local bread, jam, cheeses , juices and fruits. On top of that, Friederick, the owner of the hotel, takes care of everything personally making your stay even more pleasurable, not to mention the nice talks we had and the great tips about restaurantes and where to go in SFX that she gave us.. I loved it and will come back soon. Thank you, Friederick!.

Reviewed By 237jessidNot only did we feel completely safe staying here during a pandemic but we were treated to some of the best service, food, drinks, accommodations, and more importantly a genuine feeling of friendship from each person we met, whether another guest or an employee. The Dona exuded warm, welcoming energy that was palatable and made you want to sit with her all day and take in each of her animated stories. Her staff learned from her and worked with a smile you could feel rather than see under their masks. They anticipated each of our varied needs before we could ask and we’re always available with suggestions if we couldn’t make a decision. The rooms we clean and smelled amazing, the bed was more comfortable than home and the soaking tub was an absolute luxury. The grounds are lush and beautiful and offered plenty of places to just be with nature. The guide for our walk was amiable and knowledge and the massage, Fabio gave my husband and I one of the best massages of our lives! If we could take him back to the US with us we would! Our parents were just as happy lounging by the pool and indulging in delicious and perfectly prepared bites. We will make this posada a staple in our family trips as I’m already dreaming of coming back. Thank you to everyone who made this trip so special. Oh! And I’d love the opportunity to buy some of the locally made crafts and food. A small shop with local treasures would be a lovely addition ❤️

Reviewed By Ariane PSimply the best b&b I’ve ever visited! The rooms are spacious and all have amazing view of the mountains! The jacuzzi inside the rooms is also perfect for the colder months! The restaurant has an amazing breakfast with options for all! Please get a massage in the caban looking the waterfall, it is sinply priceless.

In the middle of a natural park, where you can have your breakfast looking at the mountain and hearing the river right at your doorsteps. They have a "private" trail, which lead you to the top of a mountain, with options in points of the river. And also a cozy natural pool. Downsides: don't expect amenities or even basic comforts. They don't have wonderful beds, towels , robes etc. very, very rustic. But, still, charming

Reviewed By FarAway59834511434This was a nice place to stay but expensive for what it offered. Breakfast was ok but there was mold on the bread and choices were quite limited. A notice in the room on a plastic card informed guests that a fine would be charged if we stained the blankets ! That was actually quite shocking and very bad taste. This could be a luxurious Pousada but in actual fact it is average but expensive.
