Reviewed By madisong217I came here for a missions trip and not only is the building beautiful but the staff are so gracious and kind, especially with non-Spanish speaking people. They are always making sure we as a group are taken care of, and go above and beyond with the service. The breakfast and rooms are amazing! You will not regret staying here! I want to specifically mention two very kind employees who are night workers Roger and Andrés who are very kind! The picture is a view of the mountains from the third floor!

Reviewed By geraldj462Every staff member encountered was wonderful. Hotel nice, comfortable, and clean. Pool area and gym inviting. Coffee pot in the room. Small bar and resturant on site open til 7:30. Pizza Inn and Rosti Roasted Chicken Resturant steps away with later hours. Breakfast was plentiful and served on china in the Resturant. Hotel in a safe area of town, not too far from the Airport. I took an Uber back to the airport, for US $11. All my tours picked me up at the lobby. Hotel is an older hotel, but for the price and great staff, it was an exceptional value. Recommend

Reviewed By kdbl92We stayed here one night before flying out of SJO. It was better priced than the Marriott (Courtyard) airport locations and I needed 2 rooms so I decided to stay here. I had never stayed an Aloft before and it kind of felt cheap Vegas style hotel. The rooms were comfortable. We walked across the street to the mall to eat dinner but only a couple restaurants (Olive Garden, Johnny Rockets and an overpriced Mexican restaurant). We decided to go back to the hotel and order pizza. We couldn’t call to order with just wifi but the gentleman at the front desk let us use the phone and we drove to pick it up. Since there were 4 of us we decided it was easier to eat in the lobby rather than the room. We started to eat and the bar tender told us we could not eat any food that wasn’t purchased from the hotel outside of our rooms. (Eye roll)— whatever— they didn’t even have a restaurant. This hotel is on one of the busiest streets in San Jose and it goes from 2 lanes to 1 lane and back so it is very heavy traffic and very slow. It’s really not far from the airport but we left at 7:00 am and it took us 38 minutes. I think next time I’d either pay the extra and stay at the Courtyard by the airport or forget about my Marriott status and choose the Hampton Inn or another brand closer to the airport.

Santa Ana is a nice town with a lot of restaurants/bars to go. Located close to the airport and San Jose it is the perfect place to start/end the trip. Pura Vida!

Wish I'd know about Los Candiles before, this will now be our go to hotel when in Santa Ana. Beautiful room, comfortable beds, great restaurant and amazing staff. Absolutely loved our stay there.

Reviewed By D6819IDrobertdI have stayed here for 2 nights. The place is about 500 meter away from the small center of Santa Ana and is just a 25 minutes ride from SJO international airport. Next door you will find a big supermarket and a bank with ATM. The apartment was great. Everything I needed was there. The wifi is fast and stable, there is a washer and dryer, the bed is comfortable and suite is spacious enough. The place was clean and the furniture is all in very good shape. It has also a big balcony with a comfortable seating area (although it was too hot for me over there). The complex has also an outdoor swimming pool. I liked my stay here very much!
