White Robes Dominate!
Reviewed By CaptainRNWe booked via the Brittany Ferry tour of French Atlantic Islands and were thus B&B. Seeing the slightly isolated location (for the time of year) we asked to dine and fortunately there was space. Room comfortable but reached by what semed to be a single small lift which seemed to be hijacked by white Robed persons on the way to and from the basement spar. We enjoyed our dinner but found the breakfast rather a scrum. Very satisfactory for a one night stop-over but you would need to be a spar fanatic to want to base your holiday here. Good safe parking.

Reviewed By Ht57We had to cancel our trip to France due to government advice not to travel. Two weeks before our visit we emailed five hotels, two ferry companies and a campsite to ask if we could defer our booking for a year and translated to French. All said yes except this hotel who just sent a two word email “NO POSSIBLE!”. (As written in capital letters) They then charged us the full amount. No apology, no reason given, no customer service! Just 2 words! Understandable maybe with a more courteous reply. Well here is my 4 word response. DON’T BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Reviewed By David mWonderful welcome, fabulous food. great airy rooms. shower was lovely for all the family. less than a 2 minute walk to the beach. Soundproofing was brilliant. The balcony was a nice place to watch the sunset.

Reviewed By WayneMoffat1Booked through on line travel agent and was pleasantly surprised. Arrived late and host had accomodated us without fuss. Clean spacious room. Great breakfast in morning and hosts again went above and beyond. Not on the beach but is very close. Recommend.

Reviewed By HTPWT24Right on the waterfront location within walking distance to the ocean, restaurants and shops ran by the owners and free parking doesn't get any better. Rooms are small but right size for French standards and surprisingly quit. Towels need upgrading. Room was clean. Heater worked fine, bedding was conformable. Continental breakfast is reasonably priced and very good. Will recommend and stay in again.

accomodation old and dirty - need significant refreshment
Reviewed By ls20212021Accomodation is old and quite dirt upon arrival and it deserve significant refreshment. All inclusive is simply a myth: bar is closed until 11:45 am and close at 2 pm.... reopens at 5pm and close at 11pm... Coffee time ??? Drinks in the afternoon ? Snacking offer is limited to frozen pizza and frozen croque Monsieur.... No healthy option... very disappointing

The campsite Les places dorees is a nice campsite located at 800m from the beach with outside swimming pool with slides and inside swimming pool with sauna hammam and jacuzzi. We offer nice accommodation in cottages. In each mobile home you can find all the comfort you need like television, kitchen, bathroom, and terrace with outdoor living and deckchairs.

Reviewed By Emma-Jane MThe site itself was clean and well looked after; and the staff helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and well maintained, and of an excellent temperature. However, please do not visit this campsite/caravan park/resort if you are expecting a quiet place to stay. Directly joining (the other side of a small hedge) is Plein Sud Camping, which seems to be party central non stop. Several nights we were kept awake until fine 5am... such a massive shame for an otherwise pleasant site.

Peaceful evenings can be spent lingering on the terrace of your mobile home while the kids play freely on the pitch or head over to Le Bois Masson, our neighbouring holiday park and soak up the lively ambiance.
A nice family holiday
Reviewed By Brian349The French Atlantic Coast is an unknown gem to most British. Only a 7-9 hour drive from Calais and much nicer and quieter than Cornwall or Devon etc. This was our 4th visit to Siblu Camps. The mobile homes have always been in excellent condition, well equipped and come with a BBQ too! Evening entertainment and kids clubs available although most is completed in French but most reps are fluent in English. Long empty beaches and miles and miles (or should I say Km & Km) of cycle tracks (Vende a velo) and lots of local towns, crazy golf courses etc. make for great family day outs. I recommend bringing your own bicycles although there are many rental agencies too but a bit pricey.
