Clean room and beautiful design. It has all the necessary equipment for a long stay. The staff and the food at its restaurant are the best and tasty. Mountains view is also a plus!

Not as ‘enchanting’ as my review in 2018…
Reviewed By barbua2017Even if on booking it has a rating of 8.3 and also some negative reviews, I ignored them based on my previous experience. And wrong I did…the rooms are ok, only that now the sheets are just…disinfected/boiled (no pleasant smell at all). The bed is comfortable enough, but the pillows…are too big for their covers and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The position of the head is not the same as the rest of the body, and you can have pains next morning. The bathroom, again, disinfected, but with what I don’t know…stains of water all over the place, petrified faucets, the doors uncleaned, dust on the radiators…strange smell in the bathroom, no possibility to open the window…breakfast was ok, not terrible, not great. The asked price is not relevant for what they offer. More attention for some of the employees. They are young, so they have potential. but the use of a computer shouldn’t be a problem when being a receptionist…. Disappointed…

Hotel "Ski & Sky" is located in Predeal, near one of the biggest ski sloaps in Prahova Valley. The hotel features 21 double rooms, 5 single rooms and 3 apartments with breakfast included for the guests and acces to the sauna. The hotel is at a 5 min drive from the city train-station. Comfort and relaxation are to be found here.
The hotel is re-opened under new management
Reviewed By FlorinM814I've heard that the hotel has re-opened under new management and I had decided to pay a visit ASAP. In knew the hotel before and it's location makes it a great choice for skiers and non-skiers alike. Arrived there, I had another surprise, as I discovered that the new manager is an old friend, Stefan Gogota. Stefan has great experience in running and managing hotels and I am very sure that he will do an amazing job here and steer the hotel in the right direction. This property deserves to become a center of excellence in Predeal and with Stefan at its helm, there is a very good chance of this happening. I look forward to my next stay and wish Stefan best of luck.

Reviewed By Coastal799983The room was big and clean, also the bathroom. Food is plenty and really tasty. The staff was friendly and always helpfull. The house is placed near the ski resort and the train station. It was a great holiday and we surely will come back for another trip.

Reviewed By popaa809We recently stayed there for 10 days and we felt great every day . When we arrived we announced at the reception that i have a health problem ( an inflammatory bowel disease ). After they heard about my problem , they made everything that is possible to solve the problem as quickly as possible . I told them that i need lactose free and gluten free food but i did not tell them exactly the products that i needed. It was a big surprise to see in the next morning that they bought for me almost the same products that i am consuming at home . I think that the complex chief made a lot of research to find the perfect products .We also found there some very friendly and kind employees . I can tell for sure that hotel Carmen is a well organized location . We will be back with pleasure in this place .

very disappointing

We arrived there thursday, at about 3:30PM, the guy at the reception very rudely told us that the check-in is after 5PM. We asked if they had a restaurant where we could eat something until check-in time and he told us that they have a restaurant, but it is opened only friday to sunday from 8:30PM. So we had to leave and come back after check-in time. We parked the car in their parking lot, near a little mountain of garbage. The room looked good at first, but I found some hairs on the sheets. When I went at the reception to tell the rude guy, he said he'll send someone from cleaning to change the sheets,"no problem":)) The room had no air conditioning, it was awfull hot during the day, and the walls were a little dirty and patchy. The bathroom was clean, but the shower didn't work properly, and there was no ventilation. Long story short, the hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars, maybe 2. Overall, it looked like it had 4 stars at the opening, and than, NO maintenance at all. Only one elevator working. The frontsteps, busted. Besides the rude guy from the reception from first day, the rest of the staff was very polite&nice. We traveled with 2 french bulldogs for whoom we payed 50 RON/dog, after a little negociation with the rude receptionist.:)) The breakfast was ok. There it is! I don't recommend this hotel!

Reviewed By luci lI had a overnight stay at this hotel, it's never a four star hotel, in my opinion two, maximum two and a half, old furniture, horrible bed and bathroom! They should close this old part of the hotel and make some serious changes, but like other guests wrote, if you find people who doesn't complain, why make big investments!

Nice hotel in the mountains
Reviewed By Samuel BVery good hotel, the rooms are big, the breakfast was enough and variet, very nice spa, sauna , jacuzzi and big pool inside heated. I will recomand, free parking, we have a king room at 5 th level. Nice views from room, old stuff people but still very nice and polite.
