Lovely pousada!
Reviewed By Pippa WStayed for 5 nights in Jan 2021. The pousada is lovely! Room are nice and well appointed, the gardens around the pool area very relaxing, as are the hammocks outside each room. The breakfast was very good too. Rooms had coffee making facilities. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and provided recommendations on eg tour guides. There were some nice extra touches - eg coffee and cakes put out for guests in the afternoon, room towels artfully arranged into animal shapes on the bed each day etc. There's a small games room and gym area by the pool which is great to have, but both are in need of updating and maintenance due to some broken or missing equipment. We stayed in high season which meant some days we had to wait a little while for a breakfast table - not complaining though because the staff were taking care to ensure tables were socially distanced and this meant reduced seating capacity. The pousada is about 10 min walk from the main restaurant area of Pipa; it's very near the road to Praia do Amor.

Reviewed By Alexander MEverything, except the rooms, is fabulous at Pousada Arriba. The pool and the grounds are beautiful and staff is warm and friendly. The rooms need updating. More tables, new beds. They’re okay, but not up to the quality of the pousada’s exterior, which is lovely. That said, I highly recommend this place. The value can’t be beat. It’s close to everything, provides a fantastic breakfast and a nice clean pool.

Bupitanga Hotel is located on top of the cliffs and just 500 metres from both Amor Beach and Minas Beach. Bungalows feature a furnished balcony and free breakfast is included for all guests. Reviewed By DelfinoEdwardThis is a lovely boutique hotel located in the tourist town of Pipa, in Rio Grande do Norte. They have a total of 30 bungalows, and half of them have private pools. We opted for a bungalow with a pool and it was worth the difference in price (which wasn’t much). The room had a king-sized (and very comfortable) bed; the room was large and very attractive; the bathroom has a tub for two. The manager told me the hotel has been open about 6 years, but it took the owners about 15 years to grow all the plants on the grounds. There are coconut trees, orchids, many flowering tropical plants and lovely lawns for you to enjoy. “Bupitanga” means “red land” in Tupi-Guarani (the language of the indigenous Indians of Brazil). They probably gave it this name because the hotel sits on a high red clay plateau above the beach (called the Chapadão, or “plateau”). The hotel manager Cleber, our waitress Carol and the waiter at the pool (Charles) as well as the staff at the reception were all incredibly professional, friendly and helpful and added to a wonderful experience.

The whole experience was amazing, the hotel style and close contact with nature provides an excellent option for an escape and relaxing time.

Our first aim is to serve pleasantly all and each of our guests. Adding to the beauty of the Pousada and restaurant, our neighbor is a Spa called ATMA, with a set of wellness programs. A place to enjoy moments of self-centering, enchantment and harmony. Pipa Selfness is located at the District of Pipa, in a privileged area with 7.000m² of private reserve and stunning sea view and to the dunes at Praia das Minas. All the accommodations have a nice sea view, combining comfort and integration with the nature. The access to the beach can be done by foot, it's a five minutes walk in a trail of approximately 300m. The distance from Pipa Selfness until Pipa's main street is 2km. For the best accommodation of a couple, we recommend the Panoramic Suite, that offers great comfort, with TV, Air conditioning, Queen-size bed, closet, bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi, and also a suspended wood deck with balcony, living room with a counter and a mini kitchen. All of this with a great view to the dunes, reefs and sea.

Reviewed By vanessagpsThis was a perfect place. It is beautiful, very comfortable, it offers great food and service. The beach just in front of the hotel is desert, almost there only for the guests. And it is gorgeous. It is 20 minutes from Pipa, so when you want to be around more people in busier beaches and restaurants, you can go there. Afterwords you just go back to this paradise called Kilombo Villas :-)

The only co mp,laint I have is tbhat the pool bar closes at 9pm. I think they could stay open at least until 11. On the whole recommended

Don't forget to make a Jeep tour, and beach buggy tour coz it's really amazing. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. I think will be back there as soon as possible.it's about 3 hours more or less with car from Recife?

Reviewed By Tammy WThe location is great The grounds are beautiful, the swimming pool is big and in front of your room The rooms in the other hand could be more taken care off The shower leaks out and the entire bathroom gets flooded The mattress could be more comfortable Doors and walls need a paint job The toilets does not flush so well AC works great I got a bangalô 2 rooms and bathroom upstairs and 1 room and bathroom with a small leaving room downstairs The staff is very friendly The Main Street with stores are right in front of the hotel Beach just 5 minutes walk and 20 steps down Breakfast is good Hotel very rustic but serves it purpose

The pool is neat and the restaurant food is awesome, the breakfast is varied and represents the local cuisine perfectly. The owners and staff are very helpful and kind. More than recommended! It’s a must go!
