Disappointing
Reviewed By Maurilio GWe arrived in this hotel late in the late evening. We were given a very poor room. us a room. I believe if not all, almost all the rooms above the reception are not good. Need urgently an upgrade. We managed to upgrade for another room in the following day. That was nice close to the swimming pool. Breakfast definitely needs to upgrade as well. Everything is very basic. No much of options. Service - we felt extremely uncomfortable on the breakfast area and piscina area. Specifically because one member of the staff that has a tattoo in his neck saying “Atitude”seems to be homophobic. We were ignored several times by him and finally when we could get the attention he was very cold and dismissive towards us. I strong believe if this place would like to be the best in town should pick up carefully your employees. We don’t feel that we would like to come back and have the same “atitude” from a few members of the staff again. When we left the hotel was exactly the same in breakfast and some of the reception people. If you go to the swimming pool need to pay for the towels is just ridiculous. How a hotel is supposed to be 4-5 stars charge for that?! Our last night was if we were inside of a night club. Just outside of our room was a party going on when we finally could sleep was 5 o’clock in the morning.

The food is incredible, the structure of the building is amazing, the bar at the beach is amazing, all the staff are very friendly and professionals. I wanted to stay forever. Really paradise here, there was not one thing I can complain about. Stay here, don't even think about having a bad experience. Nothing but the best! Relax at the beach
Reviewed By stephengvaughanMar Paraiso is located on a clean, calm beach--and very quite in November during Covid-19. Double rooms are a bit small, so my wife and I booked a triple room. Great breakfast buffet (and you can order dishes too) starts at 07h00...everything else is on beach time, starting later in the day. Odd that there is no laundry service at the hotel and you will have to go into the village to get clothes cleaned (Diva's was great for 1 day service). For exercise you can walk on the beach or rent a fat bike. You can also work up a sweat walking up to the village centre for dinner in the evening (most places only open at 18h00). Frosty beer, caiparinhas and tropical cocktails are easy to find. The hotel restaurant provides a good service, and you order food and drinks poolside. The soups, seafood and fish are good the hotel but skip the beef. In town, the Italian food is everywhere, seafood is fresh and tasty, and sushi was excellent. Very good value for money.

Extremely attentive staff, specially Andressa in reservations (kindly and patiently accepting and answering our many questions about the hotel and its surroundings and excursions). Our group was comprised of 27 people from the US and Brazil and the hotel amazingly allowed us to use a room for our group to meet. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By valentinacameSuper nice staff and beautiful yard and swimming pool, but the rooms are very poor and should be renovated and cleaned more carefully. We had lot of mosquitoes and beds don’t have any mosquitoes nets.
