Each guest room and suite offers a magnificent view of the bay. There's ample parking. The restaurant is spacious and also has an excellent view of the lake. It has a private swimming pool, complete with swim-to bar and lounging area for residents only. Other facilities include wireless internet access on the premises, Fitness center, room and laundry service and BBQ area.

Reviewed By mrshepobRyan’s Bay hotel offers good sized air conditioned rooms well fitted out to typical international hotel room layout with patio doors and balconies giving a view of Lake Victoria. The beds are large and comfortable with mosquito nets provided. The rooms are serviced daily and kept spotlessly clean. There is a pool and a separate restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is very good with a large selection of dishes available throughout the day. Breakfast includes a good selection fruit and cereals, and depending on guest numbers either a buffet or table service of cooked options. The management and staff are friendly and helpful, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our several visits to Ryan’s Bay hotel.

The hotel is renowned for its excellent service, umcompromisable hospitaliy and exquisite cuisine. Reviewed By msafricaI only stayed for one night, but I would choose this hotel for a longer stay. The hotel was very accommodating when we showed up early. They allowed us to check into a room early. The room had a very nice view. I especially appreciated that the room was set up so that you could relax on the balcony or sit inside and watch the water from chairs. The room isn't very modern but it was clean and comfortable. The hot water came on as they informed us- within about 20 minutes after turning the heater on. I ate in the restaurant 3 times. The service was pretty slow but the food was good. I had hoped to order the prawns masala as recommended on previous reviews, but prawns weren't available that day. Breakfast was a smaller buffet with someone available to make eggs. It was fine but not great. I had tilapia for lunch and dinner and was pleased with it. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and attentive. We used the laundry service. It wasn't cheap but the clothes came back within a few hours.

Reviewed By R bStayed here for one night on our way from Isabenia to Serengeti. It's only about 10 minute drive to the Serengeti gate. Excellent property with an unmatched view of the Lake Victoria. Each cottage is tastefully designed with all amenities. Lovely garden to walk around. You can spend the whole day seated on the patio and enjoy the sight and the sound of Lake Victoria. Did a 2 hr bird watching tour and saw many number of beautiful birds. A treat for bird lovers. The food was excellent and the staff were very courteous. Value for Money.

A fantastic stay with a friendly and passionate team
Reviewed By sollid67What a great time to visit Tanzania, Lake Victoria and the Serengeti - low season (drier than it should have been) and still quiet post-pandemic (on one day we didn't see another visitor in the national park). We travelled to Tanzania to meet our daughter, who was volunteering in Arusha. We stayed at Little Okavango Camp for 4 nights before travelling east across the Serengeti. The camp is completing a re-fashion after the lake flooded in 2019/20, but it remains a magical and amazingly peaceful spot especially for bird watching and getting away from things. It was hosted for us by a wonderful and friendly team led by Mbasha. Their passion for their country is inspiring as is their enthusiasm to share their knowledge and experiences as well as answer your questions. As part of the stay we went on a game drive in the western Serengeti, visited a fish market, went on a walk around the local village and cycled around to a local coastal village - the way Tent with a View work to employ local staff and interact with the community means these trips were fun and special experiences. The accommodation is relatively simple but clean and comfortable with ecological sustainable design. The food was good especially the locally caught fish. The team very much made us feel welcome and at home. We had a great time and would use Tent with a View again to visit other areas of Tanzania and their other camps.
