Amazing hotel, even more amazing staff
Reviewed By Fernando PMovenpick is a very modern hotel, with imponent architecture, fancy and luxurious, bot not stuck up. The breakfast is formidable, infinite options, from typical morrocan delicacies to french pastries. Noteworthy the very kind staff that measure no efforts to satisfy guests, like the cheff who promptly squeezed grapefruits when I mentioned I liked the juice and the concierge, Monsieur Said, who was absolutely fantastic, with great suggestions and finding ways to make reservations at busy restaurants last minute and always asking about my experience.

Nice hotel, but sickness and diarrhoea staying here
Reviewed By CloudblueHotel is lovely, but the chemist at the top of the road must be doing great business due to the number of people getting sick while staying here. Several of our party suffered vomiting and diarrhoea. The food hygenine is not great. I personally saw guests take pizza and then put it back, children putting their hand into the olive bowl because there was no serving spoons, and one child taking a croissant and then putting it back. There wasn't enough staff in the buffet to stop this happening. I also spoke to several other people who were also sick while we were there. Sickness seemed to be a problem. Apart from going on holiday and becoming sick, which somewhat defeats the purpose of a holiday, the other aspects of the hotel are OK. The grounds are well kept. The water park is good. The lifeguards do their job, I saw them pull 2 kids out of the pools on separate occasions. The rooms are OK. It's just a shame that they haven't quite got the food hygenine up to standard. There was also urine smell on occasion in the main pool. If the good hygenine was better, then I would have given a rating of 4 star.

Reviewed By Lots66Lovely stay and highly enjoyable. I spent five nights at La Maison Arabe. Very close to the souks and the main square. The setting with the pool surrounded by the restaurant was idyllic. Food in les Trois Saveurs for dinner excellent in particular the fish tagine which was divine and the chicken with lemon and olives running it a close second. The salads need more variety as it did get a little boring. The service was fantastic and the staff were brilliant throughout the hotel. The rooms were well looked after just a little tired and in need of a refresh and I utterly loved the country club. I am a keen cook so admittedly I did think the cookery school a little pedestrian although I felt the staff were warm and friendly there. Spa treatments excellent

Perfect half term get away
Reviewed By NosandNooOasis perfectly describes this hotel. The surrounding area is dry and dusty, but the moment you walk through the huge doors you are greeted by a calm, tropical oasis. Our room was just right for a family of 4 (room 2621). The pool and the amount of activities on offer from tennis, archery, pickle ball, aqua aerobics - there is enough to keep everyone or all ages entertained. The gym is state of the art, free weights, running machines and even a TRX room and yoga classes. The food was amazing, the salads to die for, it was very easy to eat really healthily on this holiday. The highlight for us though was the staff, whether it was the bar staff with their friendly greetings, the waiters and waitresses with their attention to detail, they kept topping up our wine, or the outstanding entertaining staff who managed to remember your name, include you in lots of activities, but still allow you to enjoy relaxing around the pool. A special shout out goes to Sam, Russ, Sousou, Niako (Archery expert, I dare you to beat him!) and recently arrived Abdel. The waiters Abdul, Hishel, Jalal and Rudaoun were exceptional. My only criticism would be the website does not adequately reflect the amazingness of the hotel!

From the general manager, to front desk, concierge, our room cleaner Alina and in the restaurants, we received a warm and friendly welcome. Mr Brahmin - manager of food and beverage went above and beyond with service and hospitality to ensure my specific dietary requirements were met in the restaurants. Our Presteige Suite was spacious and offered a prime view of the resort as a whole. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here should you visit Agadir. Thank you Sofitel team!

Reviewed By 575samanthahJust back from a week break I would have rated the hotel and service over all 4.5 stars. Resort itself is breath taking and is kept exceptionally well by the ground staff. The grounds are beautiful without a doubt. Rooms are absolutely stunning and for longer stays they are more than comfortable. Great bathroom, clothing area, and the bedroom size was fantastic. Staff at the hotel are very attentive and polite at all times. They all have a fantastic level of English which is fantastic. Very helpful at all times and nothing was ever to much trouble. All the teams that work in the hotel that we came across the cleaners, bar staff, catering staff, and reception and security were all very well mannered and helped your experience. Down falls, When we arrived at half 2 in the morning we were given a map to find my hotel room which was not easy. So a 5 star service I would have expected more from RUI. Secondly the map was not easy to navigate Thirdly the resort is massive so doesn’t help matters. In places the hotel starting to look more to a 4 star than 5. Lifts were an issue which kept breaking down frequently which is disappointing. RUI app is something to be desired not quiet making the bench mark here. You would request something through the app and if it happens it happens. Sometimes your requests were not honoured. So maybe a bit of work required here. Dinner at the Buffet restaurant at 7pm there would be a massive line of customers waiting to get in. And when you did get in there was a line of RUI staff there to welcome you it was quiet weird and I felt it was uncomfortable. In light of this it’s an embarrassment to an establishment of such a high level of standard. And the hotel should be thinking how this looks to the public eye who has spent over £2,000 for a week stay, Al Carte restaurants are not Al Carte choice is not great. Take yourself down to the marina in Agadir if you want Al Carte. It was as if you had to have the same food as everyone else it was a bit like a factory converbelt. Entertainment was very poor and not enough activities on site. Overall we had a fantastic experience and a great holiday. Thank you to your team for a pleasant stay,
