Our restaurant Seilet on the 2nd floor serves a generous breakfast as well as lunch and dinner and offers a fantastic view of the Romsdalsfjorden. You can enjoy drinks and the amazing view from the Masta Skybar and terrace on the 15th floor and on the 1st floor we also have a lobby bar near the waterfront. We can organise everything from meetings to concerts in our well equipped conference facilities. Keep in shape during your stay, visit our gym and relax in our sauna. Disappointing service and food
Reviewed By OffshoreNorwayBeeing a Hotel in long service there was a lot of strange issues, especially related to the dinner quality, lack of winecharts both in the restaurant and bar. Bad and expensive wine in restaurant (and only one type of red / white wine to select). Personell came to our table for payment in the middle of our dinner, and not in the end as everywhere else. It seemd to our team that the Hotel did not have any logisticts in between function, like as it was their first open day. The dinner was also far below expectations. Room, cleaness and breakfast was however good.

One night stay
Reviewed By karlaxelm2022My room was a junior suite. Even though I arrived early (before 1500), my room was free and I could enjoy it immediately. The reception staff was very kind and knowledgeable. When I arrived at my room on the 4th floor (room numbers 500-), I found a nice small package with chocolates and sweets together with a handwritten note telling that I was very warmly welcome. Which of course; I felt immediately. The junior suite had a nice newly renovated bathroom with a double sink, my wife did not follow, she would have enjoyed that we both could do our morning rituals without any need of waiting on each other. The shower had both a handheld shower as well as a rain shower. Hot water? Yes! I started singing during my morning shower! The queen bed was OK, the linen was crisp and delicious to hide in when night made its call. The sofa bed could also easily be used for more people in the room. The limit on the website is 5 persons. Maybe two adults and three children, or an extra bed - the space is no problem. In the room was also a kettle and coffee and tea to enjoy whenever you want. Unfortunately it is not possible to plug in the kettle while it is on the desk, you need to put it on the floor or reposition the tables while boiling the water for your tea and coffee. The room had a small but nice balcony which I had no time to enjoy. Also the flat-screen was there, but neither that one was used. Usually in Scandic Hotels you can connect your own computer to watch your own stuff. But you have to bring your own HDMI cable. One word of the amenities in the bath-room. Because of the environment many hotels have stopped using those small plastic bottles of shampoo, body lotion and shower gel. Scandic uses products from FACE Stockholm: And it is true that the smell is very fresh, only that the body lotion had not been used and was getting old and really had a bad odor. The residue needs to be changed with something fresher. (This has maybe happened because of COVID). Unfortunately the hotel has not yet restarted its restaurant which used to be very nice. So in the night I had to enjoy plastic food, with cutlery made from tree. Yes, it is supposed to be environment friendly, but instead of re-using real cutlery, we trash this spoon, fork and knife. And: You do not get the feeling of being in a hotel, but in a tent camping somewhere in the wilderness. The quality of the food served in the 24/7 kiosk at the reception: because of hunger you are happy that there is one choice in addition to potato chips and chocolate, but again: no hotel feeling... So when morning is breaking, you are happy to enter into breakfast mood. A nice, rich buffet with everything you want and need. There is cereals, oatmeal, egg in different fashions, different kinds of bread and different kind of fish and meat and spreads. And fruit and coffee as you like it. And I think you even may go for a small tea ritual if you like that kind of thing in the morning. You wonder if I will return? Absolutely!

Reviewed By TkejTerrific location right on the fjord with uninterrupted views across to snow capped mountains. Very quiet even though the ferries pass right by your window. Warm comfortable room with good shower, coffee/tea making facilities (as well as free coffee and pastries in reception), good free wifi, free parking right outside, comfy beds and friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Right in the centre of town so easy walk to shops/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again - can't fault it.

Wonderful breakfast
Reviewed By lugubresAccording to the young lady working at the reception, it is only open during the summer. The rest of the year it serves as a dorm or "retreat" place for folk school students. Our room had 2 bunk beds. Note: This hostel is not located in the city centre. Pros: -Clean common toilets and shower in the hallway and no wait time at all. -A guest kitchen on the second floor where we stayed -Free waffle coffee tea -Shelve space, desk with drawers, cabinets with hangers and metal baskets to spread your toiletries and stuff -A sink with a mirror inside the room -Wonderful breakfast in another building the next morning. -Ample free parking Cons: -didn't have any hair dryer in the common washroom or any to be borrowed from the reception

Skarstua is located by the RV 64 road, 10 km from Molde in the direction Elnesvagen and Eide. We are located in a popular recreational area which is used for both hiking and skiing. We have cabins with hotel facilities and huts built on old Norwegian building traditions in small yards with all facilities. Our café offers local food on the menu, and you can also visit the crafts center that sells localt crafts and have their own farm food store. In Lysgarden you will find three floors with sales of candles of all varieties.

Hvordan kan dette kalles hotell?
Reviewed By Unni AVi - to par- ankom Molde Hotell 13. juli, etter lang etappe på motorsykkel. Innsjekk fra kl 15.00. Vi prøver å sjekke inn noen minutter etter kl 15, men får beskjed om at rommene fortsatt ikke var rengjort. Det var heller ikke laminatgulvene i gangene. Støv og smuss danset rundt til bevegelsene av folk, og vitnet om tilstanden og standarden. De ba om en halvtime til. Vi pakker ut av syklene, og kommer etter hvert tilbake til resepsjonen. Da får vi beskjed om at rommene er klare, så vi betaler og sjekker inn. Vel inne på rommene innser vi at verken rom 1 eller rom 2 er rengjort, annet enn at der er lagt på nytt sengetøy.. Vi finner inntørkede rødvinsflekker, brune avføringsstriper på et av toalettene, urinflekker på det andre, og digre skitne avklipte tånegler på nerenden av senga på det ene rommet. Ved henvendelse i resepsjonen beklager de unge jentene seg med at de har vanskeligheter med å få tak i renholdere, og at det derfor var vanskelig å levere ut helt rene rom. Det fantes dessverre ikke andre ledige rom i byen den natten, så vi måtte be om at det ble rengjort på nytt. Eier av stedet kom på banen i forhold til denne situasjonen, med ei holdning som ikke passer seg et hotell. Vi ble møtt med arrogant holdning, arrogante svar og null beklagelse. I stedet klarer han å bryte ut av seg at rommet kun hadde vært leid ut ei natt før uten å bli vasket! Pris og tilbud matcher overhodet ikke, og det er egentlig utrolig at dem kan kalle seg hotell i det hele tatt. En del av rommene ser ut for å være utleid som hybler, og alt fra privat post til matvarer sto fortsatt lagret rundt om i bygget/'på hotellet' . Det lille og tilfeldige av møblement som sto på rommene, var totalt nedslitt og har ikke noe med hotell å gjøre. De tilbyr heller ikke frokost, annet enn at det kan bestilles og leveres i anvist kjøleskap og i pose, natta før. Såkalte hotellrom, som ser ut som et lager, uten frokost og rengjøring, kostet 1200,- pr stk pr natt. Bedøm selv om det er verdt det. Ingen i vårt følge skal i alle fall sette våre bein innafor det bygget flere ganger. Ekstremt skuffende opplevelse! Skremmende også i pandemitid!!! :(
