Jedna noc v Hotelu U Císaře, Mělník
Reviewed By katerinamI7265XBPersonál hotelu nám ve všem vyšel vstříc. Velice ochotný byl nejen pan recepční, ale i obě pokojské / pomocnice pro všechno. Jazyková bariéra nebyla problém. Jen někdy pravá ruka nevěděla, co dělá ruka levá. Zaplatili jsme si za pozdější odhlášení, ale paní uklízečka se nám docela urputně dobývala do zamčeného pokoje, i když tam v tu dobu očividně ještě uklízet neměla. Na snídani mi nic nechybělo a byla průběžně doplňována. Poloha je výborná. Jen pozor při parkování – místa přímo před hotelem patří městskému úřadu a někdo tam stále volá policii. Pokoj byl celkově čistý. Jen bych asi lépe vyleštila a odvápnila baterie v koupelně, také na nočních stolcích nebyl utřen prach. Ten odtok ve sprše je na hraně. Možná bych ještě ocenila, kdyby bylo povlečení na deku ca o 10 cm delší – deka z něho lezla. Matrace byly pohodlné a postele nevrzaly. Bylo by fajn mít na pokoji ledničku. Wifi připojení a funkčnost TV nemohu posoudit. Ani jedno jsme nepotřebovali.

Comfortable, Quiet, Good Value

The room was large, the breakfast was appreciated, the location was convenient and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The WiFi service was intermittent. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveler.

WIFI and free parking and offer wide services we take for granted. Centrally located, friendly room
Reviewed By dasreiseteamThe host seemed to be a bit in a rush to check us in. We had to phone to meet him to let us into the house. From the reception he sent us to the "Depandance", a building a short walk around the corner. He met us there briefly to hand over the keys. Through the hallway -which had a kitchenette and a sink - one could go to a backyard with tables and chairs. Our room faced the quiet street and consisted of a small entrance room, a good size bathroom and a large bedroom with king size bed, sofa and desk. Everything looked fairly new and well kept. The decor was "Provence Style" with friendly colours and a charming ambience. The negative thing was the noise from the apartment upstairs. Every step could be heard on the wooden floors. The location in the town center allows walks to all attractions, especially the castle and the river overview. We enjoyed a nice local meal and in a traditional restaurant nearby in the premises of a medieval fortress. Coming out of a country were COVID precautions are still mandatory we were surprised that we could take in our breakfast without masks, social distancing and even help ourselves to a buffet. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable and we tried to avoid standing shoulder to shoulder with the other guests and used disinfection (which was provided) after using the shared serving spoons. Unfortunately we could only spend one night here but would love to come back.

Pension Hana is a homey bed & breakfast accommodation with garden in a quiet part of the town. The town center is only 5 minutes walking distance. We offer double-rooms with bathroom and other equipment. Parking in the front yard, bicycles and motorcycles can be parked in our garage.

Reviewed By John DWe were booked in here on a cycle tour and received a warm welcome from the host of this B&B situated in a quiet residential street about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. A simple room but everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was admirable for such a relatively small establishment. The secure bike storage was of course a plus. Very nice.

Reviewed By Macaw2109In an old part of Melnik is this hotel. I had an apartment with 2 rooms , kitchen and bathroom. This hotel is situated in a quiet area. The city is best done by foot and the hotel is in the middle. The staff in the restaurant was not very friendly. The food was good. Breakfast was downstairs in the basement. Breakfast was very good

Great location
Reviewed By Paul255057We arrived on bikes from Prague on the first day of our ride from Prague to Dresden. Melnik is on the top of a hill so we were hot and tired. The hotel reception, which seems to be permanently unmanned, was not available so we had to hunt around to ask the restaurant staff (who spoke little English) to help us. While being very helpful, it took some time to find our booking (made by the bike tour company) and then heave our suitcases up the very steep stairs to the first floor rooms, which were a good size with excellent wifi. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent with good food and great beer. In the morning we had the same problem checking out - no staff on reception and had to hunt around for staff to help. Breakfast was in a small room with limited selection, and with little assistance. The coffee machine did not operate and the waitress was not able/willing to fix it. As with most hotels in the Czech Republic, beds tend to be very firm and pillows very thin and hard.

Выбрали этот отель, потому что с одной стороны - очень приемлемая цена, а с другой - дети были в восторге от возможности проживания на территории зоопарка. Мы не ошиблись! Апартаменты были с видом на страусов,детей не могла оторвать от окна. Утро начиналось со страусов,и вечером они нас укладывали спать. Были мы в апреле, людей на территории было немного, но на выходных посетители собирались - и семьями,и и школьными группами. Детей можно было утром спокойно выпустить гулять и не переживать,что далеко забредут. От животных далеко не уйдешь)) Очень вкусная кухня! Нам предлагали традиционные блюда. Причем, приготовлены по-домашнему,по-настоящему! Персонал очень дружелюбный и приветливый, готовый помочь в любую минуту. Даже без знания языка мы легко друг друга понимали.В номере очень чисто. Как дома. Не было ощущения, что до нас там кто-то жил. Однозначно - приедем сюда еще раз и обязательно будем рекомендовать этот отель всем нашим знакомым.

Reviewed By Kosmopolit_12Bei unserem Aufenthalt in Melnik waren wir für eine Nacht in der Penzion Piranha untergebracht. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Neubaugebiet ca. 1 Km vom historischen Stadtkern von Melnik, und gehört zu einer gleichnamigen Pizzeria. Der Empfang war freundlich, das Zimmer einfach eingerichtet, aber sauber. Auch das Bad ausreichend groß und sauber, Seife nur am Waschbecken vorhanden. In der zugehörigen Pizzeria kann man zum Essen gehen, Frühstück wird allerdings nicht angeboten Für einen Aufenthalt in Melnik ist die Pension für eine Übernachtung geeignet, länger möchte man hier aber nicht bleiben.

Nice staff and comfortable room
Reviewed By JoannacortezWe stayed here with my friends for whole weekend. Room was ok, clean. We also use a fitness room, a little bit old equipment. Restaurant serve good food, nothing special but I enjoyed it. Very nice staff! Everybody was so kind! Thank you for super weekend. :-)
