Each area is equipped with private restrooms (shower, wc and wash-basin), and a sink outside. Water is drinkable and each area is equipped with switches. Cars can be parked within each camping site.

Located a few steps from the sea, the structure is newly built and spread over 4 floors. It boasts a large private beach for hotel guests, an underground parking, 111 rooms including Executive, Deluxe, Chalet and Suite, a relaxation area with gazebo, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, SPA, and a conference room.
Lovely Hotel across a Golden Sandy Beach
Reviewed By 005555I just spent a few nights at the Modica Beach Resort in Marina di Modica. The hotel sits on a quiet lane that connects it to the the rest of the resort facilities. They include a pool, a restaurant, and sitting areas leading to the beach. Walking along the beach, a golden sandy beach, one can reach the main square of Marina di Modica. The staff at the hotel was professional and helpful. At the reception, I was helped by Ms. Viorica, who was very professional and pleasant. At the restaurant, I received exceptional service, too. The food at the restaurant was very good. The head water, the waiter Demis and the Chef all offered great service. I would highly recommend the Modica Beach Resort and hope to return one day!!!

Perfect location for a family break
Reviewed By Joanne AI am a bit reluctant to say too much about Marina di Modica as at the end of June first week of July anyway it was quiet and I could count on one hand others on the lovely beach who seemed not to be Italian! What a delight this was.. We decided for a week only to not have a car and the local bus services are not great (to put it mildly) however we got to Modica and back and also to Pozzuoli (but had to get taxi back). And our accommodation was very good, clean, friendly people and not far to walk to the beach. The cooker seemed to break during the week so that stopped our vague plans of cooking a couple of dinners. We did not also like that much the very sweet breakfast pastries left each day for us (bread, cheese, jams etc would have been better) but it was still fine. All in all a wonderful, restful week in a beautiful location.

Our structure comprises two main types of apartments, that we usually rent for at least a week, from Saturday to Saturday: 1. the two-room apartments, with a matrimonial bedroom, a living-room provided with a single/double/matrimonial bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom equipped with shower (for a total of 4 bed places); 2. the three-room apartments, with a matrimonial bedroom, a living-room provided with a single/double/matrimonial bed as well as a bunk bed, a kitchen, a dining-room, a bathroom equipped with shower (for a total of 6 bed places). The neighbour and the area are very nice and quiet. Our "Casa del Mito" is only 1 km far from the little main square, 150 m from the cliff and 300 m from Itaparica, a beautiful sandy beach. The apartments and the whole environment are very comfortable, all is newly furnished, equipped with fridge It. 220 and freezer, crockery cabinet with new cutlery, pots, pans and kitchenware, TVC 20". The garden is equipped with parasols, large tables, benches, and a shaded shelter for your relax or for eating outdoors. We also offer a private parking in a green area.

LA PERLA DI SICILIAThe small bungalow park "La Perla di Sicilia" with its ten newly decorated bungalows is situated next to a sandy beach, on one of the most beautiful coastlines in Sicily. The bungalows (app. 65 sq. meters) are completely furnished and include 2 bedrooms, a dining-area with kitchen, shower, WC with bidet, and air conditioner. In all our bungalows are available a small TV with many international speaking programs and WIFI-connection (on charge). There is also a patio and a parking space free of charge outside the bungalow park. The bungalows are surrounded by beautiful oleander-, lemon-, orange- and fig trees, as well as small and big palm trees. The center of town, shopping, restaurants, bar and "gelaterias" are only a few minutes´ walk away. Warm spring like temperatures during the low seasons invite you to spend the winter in Sicily. Linen and towels can be had for 1 Euro per day and person. We also rent bicycles, lounges and umbrellas (on charge). The air conditioner on request can be use for 5 euros each day. To get to all the interesting cities and archaeological sites in the area we advise you to rent a car. If you wish we will get a rental for you. Reviewed By NeilHesterThe bungalow we rented was close to others, but felt very private. The staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. We had a great time with 5 kids so close to the beach. I'd recommend La Perla di Sicilia to other families without hesitation.

Could have been better.....
Reviewed By Vince SI was really hoping to provide a better rating for this property. However, customer service/care, will not allow me to do so. This was my family's first trip to Europe, and I was travelling with my wife, and four children. I have been to this beach area many times before as a child, and as a teenager, and was excited to share this with them. The positives: very close to the beach, literally walking distance. Restaurants and bakeries were handy as well, and getting meals or early morning coffee/breakfast was never a chore. Great balcony views of the sea, and location is ideal. The negatives: One of the reasons we booked this location, was for Air Conditioning. This was probably the biggest problem we faced. With temperatures in the high 30's, it was important for me to keep my family comfortable. The A/C would fail often, and this included power outage to the the entire unit. It was common that if we were using more than one appliance, that the power would go out, or a breaker would trip. Even turning on the television while the washing machine was running would cause failure. I would say we had air conditioning 50% of our 2 week stay. When we contacted our agent re this interruption of service, we were told that it is the hydro company's fault, and that this will sometimes happen. unfortunately, it would happen at the worst times: the middle of the night, during a wash a cycle, or when we were out for the day (coming back to a hot apartment after a day at the beach is not ideal!) The air conditioning fee was 10 Euro a day, and paid upfront on arrival. When asked to be compensated - we were denied. Not happy about this. The Shower stall was good for children, but very difficult for an adult to fit comfortably. I often showered at the foot washing station outside of our unit, again, not convenient. If the washing machine was running, the vanity sink ALWAYS backed up with dirty water, and bad sewage odour. Not a pleasant experience if you are brushing your teeth! The unit came with free parking, but it is underground. So if you have a large vehicle, as I did, it would not fit. We ended up having to park outside, provided there was a spot. In a beach town, this is not an easy task. Wifi worked 60% of the time, and when it did, it wasn't the quickest. We paid a decent amount of money for this property rental. At the end of the day, we were not completely disappointed, as I love this part of Sicily. However, I think customer service goes a long way, especially in a day and age where opinions are easily made public. I think the reimbursement of the A/C fee was not too much to ask for. I guess I was wrong. Finally, if you plan on booking this location, opt for a coast side, and main floor room. Our room was on the second floor, and on the other side of the parking lot, which made it inconvenient for lugging our suitcases, groceries, etc. We literally had to walk around the entire building and climb a significant set of stairs (which had no railing) Honourable mention goes to Ignazio, who was the maintenance guy for the property. He was always quick to respond and react when there was a concern. A special thanks to him, although his hands were tied with certain issues, he did what he could.
