Reviewed By Jonathan84Visited this hotel on a recent business trip to Brazil where I spent 7 nights. Rooms were very good wifi worked fine just need to ask for additional codes for more than 1 device. Breakfast was pleasant every morning with lovely coffee. Didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings. Hotel located close to the centre of town and everywhere is within walking distance. Only downside is the hotel didn't have any irons or ironing boards or socket adaptors that you would expect at hotels throughout Europe. Reception staff were pleasant though and helpful. Would recommend and return.

Room very small for 2 persons, Had to call for towels and soap Mini Bar was empty and not functioning There is no elevator so in my case i had to go up 3 stocks with luggage no help from the hotel employee. Breakfast was terrible, coffee tasted like motor oil The only thing that was good was the bed Price 215 reais a day, is way too much for this hotel

Reviewed By chognoThe city of Jaragua do Sul is a clean, safe and rather boring place for a visitor, unless you have a pharmacy fetish (there are lots everywhere). Very limited commerce and few restaurants and attractions. Etalan is a conveniently located hotel with basic, clean rooms, good aircon and surprisingly good included breakfast. Has a gym (which I didn't check) and right-at-the-door parking, with friendly staff who only speak Portuguese (as is the case in most hotels in Brazil). Overall, a decent choice if you're on a low budget. Warning: If you expect a reliable Internet connection from your room then save yourself the aggravation -- forget this hotel and book at the Mercure, a couple of blocks away.
