Reviewed By 449levijWhen I asked an airline attendant at the airport where the Capri Hotel was I was met with laughter that I would be going for a stay. So I got a little nervous. But I’m in Rio and that’s a risk in and of itself. So I was happily surprised when I put their judgements aside and took an Uber to the Capri and stayed for a day. Nice room. Slightly old school but no musty smell because the floors are all marble. Bathroom all modern. Bed modern. Refrig in the room. Clean. Hospitable. Easy to access. Safe. Free breakfast. And the manager was absolutely charming friendly and helpful! I saw no difference between this room and one at Linx (also excellent). I will stay here again without reservation although I will make one next trip to Rio!

Old hotel and in a kind of danger neighborhood

Poor amenities, Awful location, lovely staff.
Reviewed By Tim MFirstly, the positives. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is large and well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Now the negatives: 1) there is no on-site restaurant so you have to order from culinary delights such as dominos pizza. As the take aways speak only Portuguese you either need to speak the lingo or have the reception staff place the order for you. 2) The hotel amenities are pretty poor. The swimming pool and sauna are out of order. 3) The hotel feels like a ghost town. 4) Gunshots are frequently heard. 5) Breakfast is merely adequate. 6) I booked an 'executive' room which stated on booking.com that it included an airport transfer. The hotel did not honour this so I had to sort out an uber myself at my own expense (having paid a small premium for the 'executive' room precisely for the transfer). 7) The area does not look, nor feel, safe. 8) It's 16-20 mins from the airport by taxi. Had I known the area was quite so bad I would have opted for a longer ride in the taxi and stayed in Botafogo.

Located in Duque de Caxias, next to the Washington Luiz Highway, we are just 800 meters from Hospital do Olho, 5 km from Reduc, 10 km from Outlet Premium Rio de Janeiro and very close to the knit fairs and the furniture pole. 500m. Very familiar neighborhood, people love taking a walk around the neighborhood. Featuring a balcony, selected units include air conditioning, a dining area and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. Some units also have a kitchen with an oven and a microwave. The nearest airport is Galeao / Rio de Janeiro International Airport, 15 km from Rooms Em Casa Caxias - Pousada Paraiso. We have easy access to the whole city, with buses next to the BR 040 highway, there is a train station nearby called Gramacho, from the Saracuruna branch.

Reviewed By Clienteindignada01Não indicaria esse local para ninguém, uma falta de respeito, deixa as pessoas com fome, fala que tem direito a janta, e muitas vezes serve comida crua, não atendem o telefone para alguma oportunidade explicação... Estou indignada, tive familiares que passou por humilhação nesse local... Trata as pessoas como um animal.

Somos um hotel economico que prioriza sempre o bom atendimento e conforto dos seus hospedes. Ficamos na cidade de Duque de Caxias, na Baixada Fluminense numa da principais rodovias do estado, Rodovia Washington Luiz Km1 que faz ligacao com a Av. Brasil e Linha Vermelha. Temos proximidade com o aeroporto internacional do Galeao, que fica a cerca de 15 km de nos. Possuimos uma recepcao e servico de quarto 24 horas para melhor atender nos clientes. Alem disto, tambem possuimos o servico de rotativo/periodo em predio separado do Hotel. O estacionamento e wifi sao gratuitos.

Reviewed By satoshiokaPéssimo nao passe nem perto, nojento o quarto todo sujo, ar condicionado quebrado, atendimento ruim, pior lugar que já fiquei. Não recomendo que passe nem 1h nesse local com risco de ficar doente. Melhor dormir no carro.

O quarto foi o 711 e vou denunciar à vigilância sanitária porque aquele colchão pode levar uma pessoa a óbito. O atendimento de TODOS os funcionários são IMPECÁVEIS! Porém o quarto é muito sujo! Meu Deus, que nojo!!! Passei só uma noite, e como havia dirigido muito, quando chegamos as camas estavam "arrumadad" com o colchão coberto e apesar de sentir um cheiro horrível, pensei que fosse só do carpete. Ao acordar com o lençol fora do colchão eu quase vomitei!!! Reviewed By criadetiLugar Simples, com uma equipe excelente, eles servem uma Porqueta que cá entre nós , só vi em Livorno na Costa Oeste da Toscana (Itália), eles servem pratos variados(frutos do mar) me surpreenderam, eles cobram muito pouco a pernoite, e percebi que a clientela deles vem de vários lugares, para jantar principalmente,são muito discretos, notei que eles tem outras propriedades anexa atendem a Gregos e Troianos, achei interessante.
