Overall are good if we get a chance we'll come to stay at your hotel again.

Baan Rim Ao Resort is a bayside resort located near the Gulf of Thailand and many tourist attractions in Chanthaburi like Old Town Chantaboon Waterfront and The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. For the transportation to the resort, since my friends and I couldn't drive. We took a public transportation to Chanthaburi Bus Terminal. Then, we asked the resort to come pick us up. When we arrived at the resort, we were stunned by the beautiful scenery and the beautiful decoration. Moreover, the sound of the waterfall near the reception made us feel relaxed and so ready for a vacation that we longed for. The hotel's decoration is very simple but stunning. The wall has the quote about vacation painted on it, for example, 'travel more, worry less'. The room was amazing as well. The resort provided everything you wanted such as the fridge, the hairdryer, some snacks, some bottle of water, and television. The bathroom is very clean and quite big as well. The scenery from the room is stunning. We can see the pond of water lilies and the resort's garden which made us feel very relaxed and close to the nature and the swimming pool. The garden has so many place to take a picture and since it is near the bay, it is very windy too! But again, stunning view. The food is quite nice since the resort also has a restaurant called Bang Manao within the resort. Our first dinner there was remarkable. Breakfast was also provided. The resort had variety of food from sticky rice with a grilled pork to a cereal and a salad. Everything was yummy too, impressive! The resort also provided Wi-Fi to the guests. For us, the internet connection was quite good and we didn't have any problem using it. They also had bicycle rental service for the guests who wants to ride a bicycle around the area. We rode a bicycle to King Taksin The Great Shipyard which located very near the resort. Apart from that, thing that impressed us the most was the resort's staffs. The resort's staffs were very nice and friendly to us. We had a nice chat with P'Amm who was at the reception. The other staffs were friendly as well. They took care of us when we asked for a bicycle and since we couldn't drive, they drove us to the tourist attraction that we wanted to go before we went back to Bangkok. I would like to say again that they took care of the guests very well and you won't be disappointed. All in all, this was one of the most enjoyable trip that I had. Even though the resort located a bit far from the city, it was quiet and peaceful and worth every penny. Nice decoration, nice food, and the staffs were very nice too! If you want a nice and peaceful experience when you visit Chanthaburi, Baan Rim Ao resort is a place for you!

Reviewed By jazsacherI was really happy with our stay at Laluna River House on Chanthburi. For 550 THB we had a comfortable yet small room right on the Chanthaburi River. The room was extremely small but the bed was smartly arranged to maximize the space. I felt the price was slightly high for what we got but I can't explain too much because I experienced a perfect sleep with ideal aircon settings. The shower also provided hot water which made for comfortable conditions. Overall, I was really happy with the stay here and would recommend this place to everyone.

Happily back to the past
Reviewed By PT KIt was the first time to stay in this type of hotel to bring back childhood memories when visiting provinces. Our group of 8 rented the whole 10-room house to have privacy which was the best decision for all. The room styles made it interesting to see and take pix as well. Really loved sitting by the river for breakfasts to enjoy nicely selected and delicious dishes. The staff team was attentive with great sense of service.

Reviewed By Alan TGood hotel with beer garden for food and drink at night. Live music. Alternative bars in area if you fancied a change. Nice staff, bedroom good and ample parking. Buffet breakfast was good and the lobby toilets had little towels in it rather than paper, nice.

Reviewed By 651puihThis is a big hotel and resort, my friend and I stayed here for a night, we both were think the same to the room that too old, not so clean, they use the old bedsheets and blankets. Oh the bathroom haven’t water heater and staffs doesn’t have any information about it. But the beach view from the room is quite nice. Service was good.

Have potential but could not do it....
Reviewed By KriangLovely hotel with a reasonable price, we stayed during Songkran (Thai new year) So it was quite full and the price was full. This is ok especially to support traveling business in Thailand which suffer from Covid 19. The Hotel is on the beach area, very nice and easy to go to many tourist place around... Not in the city of Chanthaburi though. We arrived a bit early before 2 PM. So we did check in and went for a lunch. When we backed at 2.30 our room was not finished, we waited about 30 mins... The internet was not working the whole time, none of our friends in 4 different rooms can access to the internet, we told the staff and nothing they can do.. The breakfast was horrible. The staff only chatting and not looking what are short to fill it up.... milk, bread etc.... our friends went at 9.40 am and there were nothing left at the breakfast... There are no supervisor to manage and to talk to the guests. We asked the room to be cleaned, and one of our friend room was not cleaned. Our room was near the artificial waterfall, so we had so many mosquito inside the room. Quality of the bed is OK. One of the good thing is the cafe by the beach which let us drink and corkage charge only 200 THB. I would not go back nor suggest anyone to go until they improve what I address.

The topnotch for this hotel would be a quiet, peaceful and beautiful river view that you can be enjoyed from balcony. Breakfast can choose one from three with a la carte menu and some snack on buffet line. The convenient location as not far from tourist attraction.
