A very nice surprise in Cache Creek!

Mitch, who was the manager & worked reception, was very helpful & made us feel comfortable during our entire stay of 2 days. This was a stopover rest day as we ride our motorcycles up to Alaska from California. There’s a supermarket across the street and a laundromat practically nextdoor.

Quiet was its redeeming value

Lets' start with the positive: I was placed in a ground floor room in which the door jamb and door were askew and lots of air could get in but asked to be placed in an upstairs room as I'm a light sleeper. I believe there was no one on either side so it was quiet and the road noise isn't an issue as rooms are set back. The other positive is that the fridge in my room (224) was very quiet. There's a sign at the front saying "renovated" but certainly not my room and the outside of the building is not even to code: no gutters and illegal stairs and no secondary inside lock in the rooms. The faucet of the shower was broken so half the water doesn't make it to the shower head. Now for the bed... All I can say is springs, spring, springs. Hard and old. Swimming pol is empty.

Uncomfortable and expensive stay
Reviewed By thomas lStuck here for 2nights due to all hwy. closure. Motel jacked up the price due to demand. Facilities were old and outdated. Beds were soft and lumpy. Didn't have a drain plug to take a bath. TV works off and on. Owner speaks marginal English.

All rooms have outside plugs for winter parking.Situated on 2.5 acres the hotel offer loads of parking for guests trailers, motor homes and trucks. The open loft area is a perfect place to host a private dinner or meeting. The lodge offers FREE wifi to all guests in the rooms as well as the restaurant. The hotel is located close to the Cache Creek community park which has a wide array of sports fields and amazing pool in the summer. The restaurant offer homemade, Canadian cuisine in a beautiful vaulted, log cabin atmosphere. Our amazing Grizzly burger is famous for keeping travelers filled. Reviewed By IanLorraineLove the log cabin appearance of the building! We had a nice quiet room near the back of the property. A great place to stay and surprisingly inexpensive. Despite the Covid times, we really appreciated the staff going out of their way to cook and serve us a meal even though the dining room was officially closed. Thanks again for a great stay!

We were told that we are staying in non-smoking room but unfortunately it didn’t smell that way. It’s possible that the freshly renovated room wasn’t smoked in but the front window was left open when we got there, inside smelled like outside. Very clean and friendly staff. Probably ideal if you are a smoker but if not, you’ll wake up with a sore nose and throat.

Good management. Clean room, towels and sheets. Restaurants and Groceries are close by. It’s good for the price.
Reviewed By 520kartikmGood management. Room, towels and sheets are clean. Its prices are good for their service. You won’t go wrong in this price range. The location is close to bunch of good burger spots, subway and a taco place. The backside rooms are silent and no noise of traffic.

Reviewed By Joanna UIf you need a seedy motel for your next horror movie , this is your place! My bed sheets had an orange mark and snot! Bathroom door didnt close, and my friend in another room said mine was way nicer than hers ! I lysol wiped everything, so its cleaner now than when I went in. Dirt marks on every wall and light switch.During the covid pandemic I may add. I paid for 2 nights but had to leave after 1 because something in the room made my allergies unbearable. My non smoking room reaked like smoke, likely because each room has a smoking chair just outside the door.

Disgusting! Seriously!

We weren’t informed that it would be closed and when asking a staff member he just laughed and said no pools still closed. Why else would we stay at a crappy hotel in the desert if it didn’t have a pool so we go to the community one which is fantastic btw! Back at the hotel we notice a full bar of soap in the bathroom I mean really how many other people have used this soap? Gross! So we opted to use the shampoo bottles for soap. Beds had black hair under the pillows and blankets so we slept on top of the bed. Walls have food stuck on them. Piles of cigarette butts out the back where u step onto the ground and the best of all!!! Dirty coffee cups with coffee drips inside and rings around them of coffee. I won’t be back!
