Decent hotel with a good outdoor pool
Reviewed By Jules-and-LloydDecent sized room and bathroom. Rooms were clean. The hotel serves a decent buffet with additional hot options on request. They have good sized indoor and outdoor pools (the outdoor one was a little cold in late May but I'm sure it warms up given the heat in Bukhara).

Reviewed By andrewbF1827FJWhat a wonderful traditional hotel. We had a huge suite. Lovely and clean. Big breakfast and a roof terrace overlooking the city. We were looked after so well. Bokhadir arranged our train tickets and our tours and all staff were so attentive. Can’t recommend this beautiful hotel enough.

Reviewed By VonUngernSternbergWhat a wonderful spot. Deep in the heart of the 17th century Jewish quarter in the heart of this ancient and mysterious city. All the rooms are aching beautiful, the breakfasts excellent and plentiful, the staff intelligent, attentive and discreet. The owner, who is more often than not on site, doesn’t miss a thing, and responds to all requests quickly and efficiently. One small niggle is the morning coffee. Needs to be better for European visitors. But all-in-all, just superb. I will be back!

Reviewed By Ljt1965We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Bukhara. The hotel is a magical treat, with the rooms decorated in the traditional style of the region and set around a courtyard. We arrived late in the evening, and were warmly welcomed with a pot of delicious lemon tea. Our rooms were sparkling clean and the bathrooms were large with plenty of linen provided. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and furnished and breakfast was very good, so much to choose from. I would most definitely stay here again if I'm every lucky enough to return to Bukhara.

Friendly, great location and comfortable
Reviewed By 35byronrThis is a charming guesthouse near all of the main sites in the old town. The furthest distance would be to the fortress, which is maybe a 20-25 minute walk. Some sites are less than 5 minutes away. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned and decorated in a traditional style. The proprietor Komil is nice, friendly and helpful. His English is excellent. His kids are around and the atmosphere is friendly and informal. He was happy to help with suggestions and reservations. We thought Bukhara was a nice stay for two days of touring, one for walking in the old town and one with a vehicle visiting the sites outside of town. If we again find ourselves in Bukhara we would stay here again.

Reviewed By YevmikhWe visited Bukhara in October 2021 and stayed at Rumi guest house for a few days. The place is decent. Very clean rooms with private bathroom; amenities are simple, yet sufficient for a guest house. Comfortable beds and clean beddings. The breakfast was not rich in terms of variety, but with very generous portions. The hostess was friendly and helpful. We asked for softer pillows and she immediately provided a replacement. For guests who value a quiet and clean place for a low price- that's the place to stay in. The location is excellent- 3 min away from the cultural centre with shops, restaurants and sightseeing. By choosing this place you will safe on taxis. We literally did most of the tour on feet due to proximity to the guest house. Overall, great value for the price we paid.

Reviewed By ViFi62In the middle of town, yet in a quiet street, close to restaurants and all "must see stuff" is within walking distance. The hotel is situated in two former rich merchant houses. Look beyond the facade! The room was spacious, had good quality wifi, good beds, nice modern bathroom etc. Very good value. The breakfast is served in the beautiful main building, and was quite plentiful and delicious. Staff was very friendly.

Reviewed By PhilipLeicUsed this heritage hotel as part of a group tour. Well located for sightseeing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room reasonable size but a bit dated, generally OK except beds are firm. Wifi in room. Hot water a bit hit and miss as regards pressure and consistancy. Tip: 3 digit safe code not four as almost everywhere else I have stayed. Breakfast OK but not great. No lift but porters willing to help. OK for a short stay.
