Comfortable, Clean, Hotel with Friendly Staff
Reviewed By Tourist41468208807This hotel is well kept and clean. Our room was standard and typical of the brand and in good condition. What made this stay special was the staff. The general manager, Laurie Thomas, was at the desk when we checked in and was extremely friendly and helpful. She was ready to recommend special restaurants or help any way she could. Another staff member, Rebecca, was also super friendly and when we returned to our room late in the evening and couldn't get the TV to work, she was there in flash and replaced our HDMI cable and remote. The TV was small compared to other hotels these days, but the hotel is scheduled for an upgrade this year. Breakfast was also standard fare, but the room was clean and the staff ready to assist. The hotel is in a pack of hotels at the Mall of GA Buford,and there was a lot of traffic to get through when we arrived, but certainly convenient to the Mall shopping. We would stay again if in the area.

Clean room, comfortable beds, plenty of room
Reviewed By TryitYoullLikeItOur group met here for a regional golfing weekend. There are several good courses near by. Also there were plenty of food options in the neighborhood of the hotel. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room had plenty of space. I like the wall mounted soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower.

We're under a mile from the I-85/I-985 split and a short walk from shopping and dining at the Mall of Georgia. Cardinal Health, Global Industrial, and Displayit are within five miles. Georgia Gwinnett College is a 15-minute drive and we're nine miles from Infinite Energy Center. Enjoy daily free hot breakfast, free WiFi, and our seasonal outdoor pool (open April - September).
Unfriendly front desk staff
Reviewed By 806DLLI didn’t actually have the opportunity to stay at this hotel. The lady working at the front desk when you walk in is basically hiding in the corner to the left when you walk in. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Front desk person was rude and when I went to check in for my Diamond status reservation all she wanted was prof of my discounted rate. No pleasant or friendly greeting, more on the rude side like I was inconveniencing her for choosing to stay there. Never acknowledged my Diamond status. I chose not to stay there. Happily stayed at the Hyatt instead. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By olawandea2020The Holliday Inn family was my choice of hotel for affordable accommodation about 10 to 15 years ago. It had been a while I stayed in one until this stay. This particular location needs major update. The carpet in the common area and the stairs had visible stains and dirt. The rooms were OK. Dated with popcorn ceiling. The rooms looked cleaned. The front desk lady, Joanne was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was so so. Not as nice as I remembered. Price was OK. Paid $215 for 2 days.

Homeless sleeping in the parking lot, and “we don’t care”, per front desk
Reviewed By Jason LHotel has no problem with homeless people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot, per the front desk. Add to that, rooms have dilapidated furniture and stained carpet. Regardless of the rate my company has worked out with them, this will be my last stay (in town every other week).

Reviewed By Sheilah EI recently visited Buford from my small hometown and had Never used Uber, the staff went out of there way to help me in setting up Uber so I would travel safely! They where all super sweet and helpful in every way I highly recommend this place and will be back if I’m ever visiting in the area again.

Reviewed By Y5501CJjohnmHighly recommend going somewhere else. The room was incredibly dirty (the bathroom had gunk all over the tub) and they had horrible customer service. We definitely will not be back... we went here because the price was the lowest but you get what you pay for in this case..

Nice grounds but needs updating
Reviewed By michael cAs I say above, the grounds were very nice but the Lodge need updating The suite I Had was very old Nothing updated It looked like my grand parents home in the 90's Doors squeaked and very dark atmosphere

Nice stay
Reviewed By JetBlueDriverWe had a nice stay. The staff was really nice. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking. Close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Nice gym and pool. Breakfast wasn’t great but it’s free. I would definitely stay again.
