Open in 2015 and offering a cafe with a terrace enjoying views of the mountains, Pensiunea Tobo is set in Baia de Fier, right next to the Muierii Cave and 14 km from the Transalipna, the highest road in Romania. Every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony is featured in certain rooms.

Reviewed By JackassRoI had eat the best traditional food in years. The waiter that I had was wonderful she was so happy and perfect. The food is not rush full if taste as you never tasted. The price are very good balance. The Will come back for sure.

Conacul Bunicilor**** (Grandparents Mansion) is a pension built on the site of a manor. Situated " under the mountain " at the foot of Parang mountain, surrounded by hills, forests and and rivers , Conacul Bunicilor **** " is an oasis of relaxation where popular tradition blends with sophistication and comfort . The pension is mainly design for business tourism and groups but also for individual tourism, offering full board stays type , half board or accommodation for a weekend or several days throughout the year. We have our own Rope Course and we are offering team building programs, training sessions and personal developing seminars.

Reviewed By AdaKalmanPerfect staying. Did not planned, just stopped to ask if they serve lunch; they did, only for their guests, but welcomed us. And we decided to stay for the night. Fell in love with the place, it'd calm and quiet yard and that something that makes you feel at your grandma's house (including linnen with small flowers) Perfect for those with children, many things to do and play, while you enjoy a coffee on a sunbed under the trees. Food is delicious and the coffee is great. Warm and perfect hosts, along with 2 big dogs who love to be cuddled makes me to want to come back again.

Reviewed By Viorel_25The hotel is located on a small hill and provides a nice view to the cliffs. The hotel has clean and cozy rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of meats and cheese, and homemade jam.

Reviewed By Dumitru NAn average place but handy for transit. You can quiclkly visit the nearby caves or the beautiful nature around the premise. Clean room with a decent size. The big downside was on the evening when someone decide to burn something hard to breath.

Crazy beautiful
Reviewed By rosum484Fantastic place. We are going there at least 2 times/ year. Usually we book entire villa for our feiend with kids and us. Is unbelivable, the host is friendly, they prepare barbecue and all other stuff, kids are playing and we drink from miraculous wine of Marian.

Reviewed By CristianV07Absolutely superb accommodation! I was amazed by how clean was the whole place and how super friendly was the administrator. Unfortunately we’ve only stopped for one night on our way, but if you’re looking for a place to stay with 3-4 couples, they have big bedrooms and one massive living room, with TV/PlayStation etc. This is a place to go if you want a place for a big group and have fun on late evenings. Would definitely come back.

Reviewed By Frank VAan buitenzijde niet herkenbaar als pension, maar bij aankomst enorm vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Mensen deden vreselijk hun best om ons te verwennen. Zeer persoonlijk contact ondanks taalproblemen. Warm eten was mogelijk (wat de pot schaft, maar heeeerlijk!) en geweldig ontbijt. Dit alles voor een spotprijs. Hier ontmoet je de Roemenen!

All the rooms were very clean, with several relaxing areas includimg a small pool. All the facilities needed, both inside and outside! Strongly recommended!

Reviewed By Martin BWir hatten das tolle Zimmer unterm Dach mit Balkon. Superfreundlich aufgenommen, fast schon familiär, trotz Sprachschwierigkeiten. Tankstelle direkt am Haus. Eine Gaststätte ist auch dabei, mit gutem Essen.
