Beautiful Hotel

Reviewed By _SarahMichellllle_

My friend and I traveled to this area to ski in Hintertux. It was a great location, very close drive to the gondola. The hotel was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there. The spa area and dinner were wonderful. Ulrike was so accommodating and understanding, really made the experience even better. I originally made the reservation on booking for a suite, but my friend and I needed a cheaper priced hotel room. She was able to waive the cancellation fee from booking, and help me rebook a room at a great price range. The amount of stress she saved me was truly appreciated. Thank you Thomas and Ulrike for everything!

The hotel and the team there has a clear mission: to provide excellency in comfort and hospitality. Great hotel atmosphere, best lobby I ever saw - really cosy and welcoming to enjoy happy hour; high quality food - especially everything sourced locally, fantastic adult welness area, great pools (inside and outside). Room standard very high - modern, with generous space. And with fantastic ease of access to skiing - literary few meters between the lift and the hotel ski depot. Wonderful stay

Reviewed By mitchell25_12

We stayed here for two nights because we wanted to be out of town. The hotel &location was wonderful.the view of the snow covered mountains was superb , far more than we expected. The hotel,s location was right opposite a bus stop . Easily reach Salzburg in 10-12 mins straight through. The hotel was very picturesque. The staff could not do enough for us….my wife has spinal problems and they moved us from a room with a bath to a room with a shower without hesitation . Also they got us a second chair for the room so she could sit rather than lay on the bed…nice touch …..we had a deluxe double room with a balcony which was plenty big enough. The breakfast was superb , cold buffet & hot food available.we didn’t,t use the wellness facilities so cannot comment on them. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay out of town . The airport is only 10 minutes away - €13 by taxi. ….we will be back, already planning for the summer.

Wonderful!

I loved this hotel and now I love it even more, after I read in a review it is a family owned business. My experience started before I arrived with a few emails and requests. All were honoured with promptness. I then arrived late at night and was I promptly brought to my room by a kind women who explained all the little bits of the room. I booked a double room. I wanted a larger room, but I wanted a balcony and it was completely worth it. The view! I will post here. The staff were so friendly and always smiling. Really going out of their way. On my second day, I noticed an item that was not replaced in my room ( not a huge item.. it was a diet coke.) I asked a women cleaning another room for the item. I explained it was not urgent and I could even get the item myself. Suddenly, she immediately ran down the hall to obtain the item. I felt badly and called after her, but she was already on the search for one. She was so kind and it was the theme in the hotel. Always greeted with smiles. The free water and other non-alcohol beverages was a wonderful plus and surprise. The location is amazing. When I return, I will only stay here. The only suggestion would be flatter pillows. I love flat pillows, but this is a personal preference. I am also certain, if I asked for different pillows this would have been honoured, but I did not want to bother anyone with such a request.... I mean, someone already running to get me a diet coke. Look no further, this hotel is wonderful!!!!

Relaxing weekend

Reviewed By BentOutOfShape

Hotel is at a beautiful location, very clean and well kept. Rooms are a bit old fashioned and we'd expected hair conditioner at a four star hotel. Staff was friendly, especially the cleaning ladies, and helpful with the exception of the waitress on our first evening. We would have appreciated a short advice on how the dining works (some dishes are brought to the table, others you'll pick up yourself and the distinction wasn't clear from the menu). Speaking of restaurant - food was excellent! Well prepared imaginative dishes made of fresh ingredients. The underground entrance to the spa was practical and spa is included in the stay for hotel guests. The spa is definitely worth visiting!
