We arrived at South Palm for my 50th birthday after three flights and a boat ride…..but it was worth it! We stayed in a water villa which was amazing. It was so nice to get in the water every morning and the snorkelling was amazing. The holiday for us was an unplug and recharge and the amazing staff made that very easy for us. We went to the pool every day and Kumar was so lovely, helpful and knowledgeable, and made sure we had a sun bed every day. I cut my foot one morning and he looked after me so well. We didn’t go to breakfast every morning but we did go to lunch and dinner in the restaurant. What can I say….the staff were amazing ….our waiter was Soda and became our friend and made sure we were well looked after, he managed to get us a table outside most nights which was decorated with flowers and candles and just made it really special. The servers were also all very friendly and both myself and Adam were impressed with the food , but also the chats we had with the staff who are all so happy. We went to the entertainment every night and especially enjoyed the Maldivian night and learning about the islands. Our waiter in the bar area was Yashmu and he was brilliant and such good fun and made us laugh daily. . The staff are definitely a massive asset to the resort. Can’t wait to go back ……miss you all ! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS LOCATION, SETTING, AND ACCOMMODATIONS

This small boutique lodging gets a 5 star review from me. Directly on the beach, in a private setting so you can lounge and relax comfortably. Small island directly off beach that you can walk to or swim to. Staff are fabulous. The best place I stayed at the entire month I was in the Maldives. Bed super comfy. Incredibly clean. Very quiet and private. Lovely tasty breakfast. Highly recommend. They also have kayaks you can use and a dive operation onsite if you are a diver. Loved it!!!

Equator Village Maldives

Welcome to Equator Village spa resort- the alluring tropical beauty of Addu Atoll. Nestled in one of the largest, most interestingly formed and historically rich atolls of Maldives, an exotic adventure begins the moment you start your journey from INIA to Gan International Airport. This is not your typical Maldivian resort; this is an equatorial escape into a land of culture and nature entwined together

Tranquil, Beautiful and Breath- taking views.

We arrived to Gan Island from Male using the local propeller plane. we had breathtaking views and met the lovely locals, going about their day. We were even presented with a certificate stating we had crossed the Equator. We arrived at Equator Village in a few as the picturesque airport and hotel are literally on the same road. We passed beautiful buildings, once part of the British Military and now our home for the next 3 nights. We were greeted by lovely staff including the manager Mr Waheed. He was a lovely gentleman, well mannered and softly spoken. He put us at ease straight away and we chatted over some lovely juice. We were shown to our spacious room. Yes it is a bit dated and yes it could do with a lick of paint but it was perfect for purpose and keeping in sight, this was a military site, it has retained some of it's heritage. The housekeeping was immaculate and all the staff were so lovely and polite, bearing in mind most of the staff were Maldivians who lived on the island, they were very proud of the resort and the surrounding islands. Each room has a spacious terrace. There was a wooden stand to hang out swimming attire and snorkeling gear. Remember to bring snorkels, the island has the best sites for snorkeling and the calm waters are filled with beautiful coral and fish. This is somethin we missed dearly when we moved onto our second island and snorkeling was difficult with the ocean currents. The excursions were excellent, the trip to Bushy Island and the spinner dolphins excursions were breath taking, definitely an experience to remember. the food was excellent. There were lots of fresh fruit, salads and a range of different cuisines. The staff knew how to take care of us during our stay. We visited some local eateries and got a taste of Maldivian life and walked into Addu - we were not disappointed and enjoyed the slow, tranquil and laid back pace of life. Mr Waheed and his team were brilliant ambassadors of this beautiful island. We really would award this resort a 5 star resort and 7 star service. Nothing wqs too much and Mr Waheed even changed our flight to alter one so we could go on the dolphin excursion. We loved this resort and cannot wait to come back again. Please pass our thanks and gratitude to each and every member of your team. Thank you

Fantastic holiday, great staff, beautiful island.

Reviewed By St1ffler

Myself and my husband stayed here end of May. Due to covid the island has only been open a few months. We took 3 flights and a speedboat to the island. We arrived late evening and were shown to our jacuzzi room which was amazing. We had sandwiches in the room on arrival. There was a maximum of 8 guests on the island the whole time we was there. We had cycles outside our room but just called a buggy to take us where we wanted to go, it's a long island. We had a couple of massages which were amazing. Due to lack of tourists we had a la carte meals every day. The chef and his team did a fantastic job. We went on the dolphin tour also amazing. My husband did a snorkeling tour which he said was great. Staff - too many people I could mention but im rubbish with names, Hassan our waiter each day was great. On our last day he set the table up on the beach, it was beautiful. The lovely staff at the pool and beach bar hated if we got up to order another drink, they're service was really good. A staff member lent me his phone charger coz mine had stopped working. All in all a fantastic holiday

Location, Service, Comfort, Quality Staff

This guesthouse is well located, and offers an entry point to the Maldives experience that is more financially accessible than many of the more expensive resorts. The rooms are comfortable (AC, hot water, clean, etc.), breakfasts (provided) are great (especially if you enjoy local food), and the staff is friendly and eager to help facilitate your holiday (fishing, diving, etc.). Recommended.

Thai spa and massage inside!!

Good small guesthouse with about 8 rooms. There is Spa inside which is a real Thai spa.. The whole spa staff are Thai :) which is a bonus!! The Rooms here is big and has a lot of power outlets to charge your gadgets. There is not a lot of staff and WiFi is super weak! That's the downsides.

This is a 3 rooms guesthouse with kitchen. Everything is very clean and tidy- I’d say the perfect HQ for those who want to dive. Since the moment we arrived we were treated extremely well. The owner was very kind and gave us two bikes to use for free. The house is four minutes away from a supermarket and the pharmacy. All rooms have an ensuite. You can use the kitchen if you want. For breakfast, the owner will either being you what you want from menu or you can go to a nearby restaurant- which is very nice as well.

Very Clean Rooms

Reviewed By Shumrooj

The rooms were immaculately clean with beautiful interiors and furniture. The hotel is in a secluded area so it's very quiet during the night. Which was very good for us as we were traveling with an infant. The overall stay was amazing. The only thing that could have made it better would have to be the bed. 2 twin beds were joined to make a double bed, which was very annoying at times. Although the comfort of the mattresses was top notch. THE POOL was so much fun with our little boy.
