The views were awesome, the staff was so friendly, and the Horse ride was so fun. I would recommend the 3 hour ride with lunch, because you spend time in a hidden beach which was awesome!! Branson was our guide and he great!!!

Our Girl Scout Troop was lead by 2 awesome employees through the Pupukea area, overlooking the ocean. We all loved the ride and enjoyed everything we learned. Mark did an amazing job teaching us the fundamentals of horseback riding, and the girls loved the very nice lady who rode in front. Mrs. Tammy made booking the trip a breeze, and the horses were all super sweet. Thank you for the great experience!!

We visited Thompson Ranch on our last day in Maui and went on their morning ride. 2 other people were supposed to ride with us but they were concerned about the steep rocky terrain, so it ended up being a private ride. The horses are so well cared for and loved, and the family was really nice and careful about who could ride their horses (not over 200 pounds, for instance.) We has a great 3 hour ride with Andrea, from the barn at 4000 ft up to their cabin at 6000 feet. Gorgeous views when we weren’t in the clouds, but being in the clouds on horseback was amazing too. Loved the entire experience! We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a small group horseback ride in the mountains of Maui!

Loved the ride. Our horses were Hoku and Sundance. Nice pace, not too fast or slow. The guide, Yod, provided interesting details along the way. Saw some cattle and deer on the ride. Beautiful views of the mountains and ocean. We hope Maui gets some rain, as some of the fields are in desperate need of it.
