On this tour we will tour the village of Qeparo, which has a breathtaking location, right after the Palermo Bay. It’s a village which has attracted an immense number of tourists, due to it's beautiful traditional architecture, cobbled alleys and old churches. Also, in the village, sits the castle of Ali Pasha Tepelena, which was designed by the French Army architect and nowadays displays special architectonic and touristic values. In addition, we will visit the Borsh Waterfall, and then enjoy some free time at one of the many beautiful beaches in Himara.

This was truly a beautiful day out. After being cooped up due to lock-down, I knew I was in dire need of nature, and the natural hot springs were just the ticket to ease my mind, and bring my entire body to a state of relaxation. My tour guide spoke English beautifully, and was a great leader throughout the journey. In fact, all of the staff at Tea Tours was lovely, and their office is also home to a nice Souvenir Shop, where you can find English books, maps and other goodies.

Upon arriving to Saranda I knew I wanted to see more of the other locations outside of the general area. So, in loving the fine folks at Tea Tours, I opted to take a tour to Qeparo and Himara. I mean, you can't go wrong. An ancient village, reminiscent of what some movies are made of and the beautiful beach in Himara to enjoy after perusing Qeparo. And, Qeparo itself, set upon the top of a mountain, truly has some incredible photo opportunities to discover and capture. And the village, while barely inhabited by the locals, also has many opportunities to snap a great architectural photo. I do hope to tour a little more with Tea Tours, as everyone there is truly helpful, and kind. And, the guide, fantastic!

Rando was a great driver, tour guide, restaurant guide, photographer, mentor. He went beyond on helping me find my luggage that was in the airport in Italy. He was by far the best tour leader/driver I’ve ever experienced in my travels over 57 countries. I was a little skeptical to travel during the pandemic but I’m so glad I did because everything went smoothly. I have already recommended Rando and Good Albania to several of my friends. I hope one day to return to Albania. Thank you Good Albania for the amazing memories!

If you are lucky enough to get him as your tour guide you will agree with me that he is one interesting man on this planet! He went above and beyond, even making additional pit stops. He showed us so much in one day that would of easily taken us two to three days to do. The tour exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to do future day trips in other countries/cities with Albanian Express Travel and Adam!
