My wife and I had a great time with Gabriel! He picked us up from our hotel in Albufeira for our transfer to Lisbon. We stopped for a visit in Evora on the way. We enjoyed Gabriel’s company on the way to Lisbon. He provided us with suggestions in Evora (restaurant, olive oil tasting, sites,...) I would definitely call Gabriel next time I’m in Algarve.

This will be a tour to discover Fátima. Following a pick-up at your hotel in Lisbon, you'll travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Fatima Sanctuary. This Portuguese city is known as a religious place for Christian pilgrims and its worldwide fame is due to the account of apparitions of the Virgin Mary reported by three small shepherds from May 13 to October 13, 1917. This series of visions and prophecies have become, if known as the secret of Fatima! The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima has become one of the most important international destinations for religious tourism, receiving around six million people a year. We continue to the home of the three shepherds where you will know how they lived in the beginning of the 20th century. After a great lunch we will go back to lisbon

Inclusions: Bottled water, Air-conditioned vehicle, Private transportation, WiFi on board

Exclusions: Lunch and private expenses

Diana @ Ride For You was an amazing guide and she is the main reason our trip turned out to be so wonderful. We are a family with 2 small children (2.5yrs and 5 months) and she completely took care of us - from helping with children, to explaining the sights, driving us to different parts of the area, being super flexible and helpful, great English language skills, recommending what is best for us, etc. Highly recommended! Thank you Diana, from Ivan, Maja and family :)

We were picked up right on time from our hotel and delivered to the home base where we received a safety training and intro to the vehicles. My wife and I felt completely comfortable with the equipment and training and had a great time along the route. There were parts that got pretty bumpy along the way which was great fun- and the guide was always taking photos and videos of us which was awesome to have some memories of the trip. Can't think of a way to make it better, extremely happy with the trip.

While the title seems to say it all, to put it into context, we have been traveling for 30 years and always arrange for our own guides even if we are on a cruise. Not only did Paulo have a tremendous depth of knowledge about both the past and present of Portugal, he had the ability to tell the story in a concise and relevant manner that was engrossing. There were a number times during our day with Paulo when we would say to ourselves, "This is the best guide that we have ever had"! And indeed he was.
