Reservatauro Ronda

Guided tour 70 min "Amongs bulls and horses" adult 28 e - Guided tour 2 hours with Ronda´s wine and tapas adult 40 euros- Discover the life of the figthting bull and the andalusian horse. Only a few minutes away from the city that joined its destiny to the king of the dehesa, at RESERVATURO RONDA, in the edge of a Biosphere Reserve, we can enjoy observing within a short distance all the stages of the fighting bull breeding and selection: the breeding stock cows escorted by the powerful stallion -the chosen one, the herald of the essence of the breed-; the calves born that year, running about together overlooked by their mothers, dreaming of a long life in the country; the young bulls insolents, boastful of their thoroughbred; and finally, the bull, the result of centuries of men's passion for creating the most beautiful creature, midway between its nobility and its fighting spirit. Beautiful property and a great introduction to the way of life of the Spanish countryside and the breeding of Spanish bullfighting bulls and Andalusian horses. Very professional and warm staff. Animals are incredibly well looked after. Excellent tapas and food and wines too. A real insight into “insider” Andalusia and a must for anyone who wants to understand its culture and tradition. Great family outing, kids will LOVE the experience and also for couples.

Vina & Bodega Remsamen

The bodega is situated on a hill at an altitude of 350m and 15 km from the Mediterranean Sea. In 2008 we started on 1 hectare a small vineyard with 3 types of grapes, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. We don't use chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizers and don't add yeast or sulphite. We do not filter the wine crystal clear in order to maintain their optimal flavour and colour. From 2018 we only grow Chardonnay. We are not a commercial vineyard, but show and explain how white and red wine is made. At the wine tasting, we taste the chardonnay and 2 red wines that we have produced in recent years. Visits by appointment for a tour and a tasting.

My wife and I have visited many wineries with tours and tasting all over the place, but the visit at the small family owned Remsamen Bodega surpassed our earlier experiences. The hosts, Marjelijn and Rene', gave us a both personal and knowledgeable presentation and tour about the history of the winery, their own experiences and, of course, the secrets of wine making. So much the better that their wines were both good and affordable and were savoured together with some cheese, salami and quiche. We can warmly recommend a visit at Remsamen Bodega????

What a fantastic place to visit. We booked the wine tour and meal and I have to say it was an excellent afternoon. Started with a tour of their vineyards and bodega and Miguel answered our many questions Then we were seated in a beautiful courtyard where Isabel served us our meals. The food was fantastic. Meats, cheese, breads, omelette, paella and dessert. And of course accompanied by some of the nicest wine I have ever tasted. So nice we bought 4 bottles to take home. Isabel and Miguel made us very welcome and fussed over the children Well worth the visit and we will definitely return

Jardin Botanico Historico La Concepcion

The Historic Botanical Garden of La Concepcion is an English landscape garden with more than 150 years of history. Located at the northern entrance of the Spanish city of Malaga, it is one of the few gardens with subtropical climate plants that exist in Europe. It has more than fifty thousand plants, of two thousand tropical, subtropical and autochthonous species, highlighting the collection with more than a hundred different species of palms, bamboos, aquatic plants and its historic garden. Originally it was a recreational farm for a family of the upper middle class of the city since the middle of the 19th century.

Very interesting botanical garden, there is an old part of more than 100 years, with waterfalls and tree-covered paths, as well as a new part - cactus garden, observation post, garden with useful plants, etc. There is a coffee and toilets in the garden, and if you want to see it all, be prepared for ascents and descents.

Forget myths and rumours and dive into the fascinating life of a highly social, perfect team-worker. Nowhere else can you face unadulterated wolves that close. The most interesting wolf-subspecies and an expert team await you every day.

If you are an animal lover I can guarantee that you will love The Lobo Park, the wolves are beautiful and well cared for yet are still wild animals, which is so good to see. It has a very different feel to that of a zoo and the staff are clearly educated and passionate about wolves, also really friendly and relaxed. Throughout the tour we were able to ask questions which we answered fully and at length. Our tour had both English and Spanish speaking people and questions asked by either nationality were answered, then translated for all.Informative, educational and really enjoyable! Absolutely recommend that you visit here.
