We had a great visit to the cellar door and winery tour with Jonathan. He was fantastic- knowledgeable and informative - he spent more than 2 hours with the 4 of us. Taking us through the historic property dating back to the early 1800s and vineyard with some of the regions oldest vines. We also enjoyed the wine tasting great wines in the cellar and again Jonathan provided interesting commentary and insights to the wines. We all recommend a visit to Langmeil. Well done Langmeil and thanks Jonathan.

My partner and I met with Val for our tasting at Sieber Wines. Val was warm, nurturing and humorous; like an old, treasured friend. She made the experience even more incredible - she was open, caring and generous with her time and expertise. The wines were well-balanced and tasty - we couldn’t help but take away a selection for our enjoyment at a later date. We can’t recommend Sieber Wines enough, it was a fantastic and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

As regular visitors to the Barossa, we wanted to discover a new cellar door and wow what a find! This place is absolutely gorgeous. The cellar door is a storybook chalet and the toilet block is like a gingerbread house. The gardens are special too. We were assisted by Eva the owner who was so lovely and the wine is impressive and so affordable too. We will definitely be returning.

Kalleske Wines

Cheese platters of local Barossa produce are available to purchase and can be enjoyed on a picnic blanket on the lawn or in our cozy cellar door. Out the back you can find games like Quoits to entertain the kids whilst being surround by a beautiful garden. Come enjoy our wines and learn the rich history that went into making them. In South Australia's Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 near the village of Greenock. They are one of the region's leading grape-growing families consistently growing some of the Barossa's best quality grapes. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first 'Kalleske' wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic. The Kalleske family are active practitioners of sustainable farming. They are caretakers of the land and not only want to maintain the environment but improve it for future generations. All Kalleske wines are estate grown and vinified with minimalist winemaking techniques used to fully capture the essence of the vineyard allowing genuine handmade estate wines to be produced. The range is a diverse mix of wines that showcases the splendid Kalleske grapes. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!

Visited this gem last weekend with a family group of 12. We had a wonderful warm welcome and sat outside in the beautiful winter sun tasting excellent wines while the kids played on the large lawned area with balls and quoits provided by the winery. If your looking for a family friendly winery look no further -highly recommend!

What an amazing place. I can’t believe we haven’t gone here earlier. Stunning building with lovely grounds. Up the beautiful staircase or use the lift, you enter a huge area. Big beautiful tables all set out ready for our family gathering. Most of us chose the platters which were great. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially to the children in our group. We were inside because of the heat but it would have been just as nice out on the balcony. If you have a large family or a big group, Lambert’s Estate is perfect.
