Reviews on Healthy food in Sant Joan de Labritja, Balearic Islands, Spain. Sant Joan de Labritja (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsaɲ ʒuˈan də ɫəˈβɾidʒə], Spanish: San Juan Bautista) is a village and municipality of the Balearic Islands on northern Ibiza. Among others, the resorts of Portinatx and Cala de Sant Vicent are located there. The actual village of Sant Joan is a quiet street, dominated by an imposing Christian church, and is the meeting point of Sant Joan de Labritja Municipal Council. One may find several small cafés and restaurants (including the locally well-known Vista Alegre, as well as a taxi rank, outside the Municipal Council building and the local office of the Guardia Civil, the Spanish Civil Guard. Towards the west of the village is the origin of the Torrent de Labritja, a tributary of the Riu de Santa Eulária, the Balearic Island's only constant-flowing river, although the Torrent only contains water during the winter months; throughout the tourist season, the stream is a dry river bed full of green vegetation.

We ate here on our last Friday evening before flying home the next day. We sat down at 2030 and albeit were didn't leave too late there wasn't another person sitting at any tables during our meal. All of the tables were laid up so I can only assume they serve food to the locals who I know eat late.Out food was nevertheless perfect with a regional 'plate of bones' and a humongous T Bone steak which would have defeated all but the determined diner.Excellent wine after some discussions as to which wine we’d ordered.

Aiyanna is a beautiful restaurant, cleverly laid out, busy, trendy and popular. We dined there in late August 2019, arriving half an hour before our reservation so that we could enjoy a drink on the deck beforehand and catch the last of the sunset, the drinks are reasonably priced - unlike some places in Ibiza! For starters we had the fried mixed seafood (baby squid, whitebait and marinated dogfish) and grilled razor clams with leeks: The squid (puntillas) and whitebait were very good but the dogfish was somewhat overpowered by it's marinade, the razor clams were well cooked and tender but again their delicate flavour was swamped by the sauce rather than accentuated which was a shame. For main we had the Argentinian cut grilled steak and the barbecued Mediterranean squid: the steak was cooked as requested and whilst not the best I've had was tender and well flavoured, likewise there were no complaints over the squid. For dessert we had the peach tatin with cinnamon ice cream and the chocolate crumb cake: To be honest these were the biggest let down of the night; firstly the tatin...is a bit mis-sold as there was no 'tatin' - just fried peaches and ice cream (no caramel or pastry) - which were both nice but not really the dessert listed on the menu. The chocolate crumb cake was OK but a bit insipid, it could have been a much darker, smaller and intense flavour bomb. The orange ice cream wasn't ice cream as far as we could tell it was a sorbet. In my mind there is a special place in hell for insipid desserts, particularly in a finer dining setting, they should be on the more extreme side - be that light as air or rich and intense etc. they should never be 'meh.'Overall service was good if a bit slow on the deck/chill-out area.In summary the food is generally good but sometimes falls into the trap of trying to be a bit too clever and losing the magic of the beautifully fresh ingredients as a result, normally I'd rate this as a solid 4/5 given it's price-point but the lacklustre desserts drop it closer to a 3 in my opinion - so if you don't eat dessert it's a better proposition.

Loved this place - really great vibe. Visited on a Sunday when the market was on. Didn't eat but have a look round the store and highly recommend the homemade lemonade and smoothies. Kids loved it and the whole visit gave us a fantastic memory of Ibiza. Thanks a lot :-) Hope to see you soon again

Reviews like yours give us the opportunity to know our clients see and in this way learn and improve.I am very sorry beacuse your experience was not satisfactory, and I regret much more that it was the result of the service we offered . One of the great assets that this company has is the quality of the service offered, the care of the customer, the attention to detail, personal attention and flexibility, these are some of our hallmarks, this is why from my position, I guarantee that we will do everything so that this does not happen again, we have met with the area manager to implement improvements in the room protocol. We hope that you can visit us again to check these changes, and give you authentic proofs that Atzaró listens our clients.Regards, Ricardo Amenar

What an absolute gem this place is! Gorgeous, romantic, fairy-lit courtyard serving outstanding food and delicious cocktails and very reasonably priced for Ibiza. The bill for 2 of us was just 105 euros and we had a starter (the octopus and sea bass ceviche which was a special and was outstanding), 2 bao buns (pork and prawn which were absolutely out of this world), a main each (salmon ceviche and beef stew which were both delicious), a bottle of red wine and a cocktail each!We will be back! Highly recommended :)
