Buon Appetito isn't fancy from the outside but they've got great basic Italian sandwiches, pizza and pasta at pretty reasonable prices for Tamarindo and super friendly service. Massimo is the man that runs the cafe and is super friendly and happy to help sort out the menu. We ordered a variety of things. The smoothie was good and we ended up with pizza, pasta, a sandwich, and a salad among the four of us and all were good. Most of their salads can be ordered in sandwich form and vice versa. We ate in but they did a steady take out business too while we were there. Plenty of vegetarian options and the pomodoro sauce was particularly good.It's not a white tablecloth kind of place but the food is good and they seem very happy to have the business and to chat with the tourists who pop in. Very affordable compared to the rest of the Tamarindo dining scene.

I love the vibe of the spot. Very chill and relax. I went with my husband but they def have seating for large parties. The empanadas was not impressive. I had the chicken Casado that was seasoned well and the salad more like a vinegar based coleslaw was refreshing.

I ordered a chicken plate which came with salad, potatoes, chicken of course, hummus and pita. All of it was excellent. The salad was so fresh, the portions are generous, but the pita bread really takes the cake. It's homemade, and you can tell -- it's so fresh. The hummus is also the best I've had. The place is super cute with AC indoors and a lovely outdoor space.

We went there 3 times during our two week stay. Unanimous choice for our group of two couples. The staff are very good. The menu is large and sometimes hard to choose which to have. Fresh snapper with leaks and cream, pasta dishes, gnocchi gorgonzola all delicious. Nice red wines. Made it to dessert only once, gelato was very good.Very good, will return. Reservations if larger group for sure.

Great little Tqco bar with amazing food, great Vegetarian/Vegan menus available! They have a signature sauce which is fab! Service is great! It has a great reputation and lives up to it! One tip for travelers - they only accept cash, not a problem if you know in advance as there is a cash machine very close.

It was a dark and stormy night - on a Sunday evening off peak season that means most restaurants are closed. Not Shrimp Hole (which I had been trying to get to for several days).Fantastic fresh seafood, amazing friendly service and a VERY clean and comfortable air conditioned spot while lightning and thunder went on outside. Ordered a poke bowl, a classic, a beer and a cocktail FOR MYSELF (I was hungry) and nothing disappointed. Never having another poke bowl in NY again.

Visited here for lunch after spending the morning at a pretty secluded beach about 10 miles away. We purposefully avoided the restaurants facing the beach. Found this little gem quite by accident. Our family had a wonderful evening here! Marco immediately made us feel welcomed and entertained. We ordered 3 pizzas to share and my husband went inside the little shop to select a wine. With guidance from Marco, we enjoyed a spectacular bottle of red. The pizzas were perfect as was the fresh bread with oil. For dessert we shared a Tiramisu, based on seeing the rave reviews in this app. It was truly incredible and I donât usually like tiramisu. Highly recommend this magical place!

We recently rented a home and had Jen cater in 3 meals along with some snacks and desert items! So grateful we choose this route! The food was delicious and worth the price - especially given the meals were delivered right to our kitchen! Lots of items to choose from, we had a group of 8 people and everyone was happy! Went here at night with the family ,after getting recommended from Marriott. It's on the middle of nowhere! At first I was a little concerned..but ohh boy what a great Gem! Owner was fantastic! Respectful gas knowledge of customer service. I felt at home the whole time great vibe from the owner, food was amazing delicious ! Had a great time and will be recommending my colleagues from the company! Give it a try it's good local food ,,place is not fancy but dont be judging this fantastic place.Dear tascabront, thank you for your great recommendation.
