We have been there to eat local meat dishes. I liked it very much. Juicy and tasty food. It is a little bit away from Umag located in Valica. It is worth a visit as the food quality is good. The garden is nice and perfect for sitting outside in summer.

First of all food is excellent. They are using fresh local ingredients and home made pasta. Since I have visited several times during season, I can confirm that all dishes, meat and fish are prepared as should. A risoto with seasonal vegetable and dried tomatos is great (even beter with few "schiampi").Vine list is local, but good. Staff is very friendly and helpfoul. They are located at the entry of Umag ACI Marina. There are few tables on the terrace and some more inside.Considering the price and food and service quality it is probably The best place in Umag.

Off season visit to this lovely restaurant. We had lots of space and the truly warm and friendly host to ourselves. Add a blazing fireplace and you get a very cozy place for an evening (well, you have to like the cheesy local music but I guess thatâs about the only thing one could dislike here).The food was excellent with fresh fish and calamari fritti, home made pasta with truffles etc. But the best dish was undeniably the boscarin carpaccio with truffle from the woods and cold pressed olive oil if the season. Impeccable!

Perhaps the best bar in Lucija at this moment. Excellent and very friendly service, cheap beverage, pleasant atmosphere and nice terrace. The bar is practically in the park, far from the road. Pleasant music at the bar, mostly rock and blues. Certainly the best burgers in the area! Hats off for the chef! Thumb up!

Oh wait! There is something missing! This beautiful place should get at least 6 stars!The atmosphere was very homely, however with beautiful artwork in the newly renovated restaurant. The renovation was done in an innovative and signature style! The reception and service was cordial, so I felt at home immediately!Great cocktails! I had a refreshing gingery tasting drink that I had to reorder!The food was just simply out of this world! I have not eaten such good food for years!Watching the gifted and ingenious chef preparing the beautiful dishes was a treat! Each detail was meticulously and perfectly executed by the chef! The taste was even better! Everything was prepared freshly and with great passion and love! Great usage of spices! Loved the avocado and nectarine salad with fresh figs! What a great combination! The spices made the Aubergine tartar so special! The Portion of the lamb chops was huge! What a beautiful sight! The chops were cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly!The main dish was followed by a Devine dessert: a warm nut tart with homemade ice cream! I hope I can come back soon to enjoy more of this wonderful food! Snjezana and Thomas are a great Team! I wish them all the very best! I came for a good meal and found the best food in years and met friends!

Not the best decision we made. We waited for the food for one and half hour, portions were very small and everything is overpriced. Waitress was friendly, but otherwise not such a great experience.

Kaleta is situated in a cozy and picturesque side alley in what is otherwise an overly touristy town. Skip the souvenir stands and cheap plastic trinkets and head straight here for an amazing meal. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is delicious. Pizza from wood burning oven, lamb chops special. Donât miss the wine from Fiore vineyards.
