This is a pleasant, casual restaurant on one of the main streets in Sparta with a comfortable interior and delightful courtyard behind the restaurant, away from the noise of the street. The food is typical "home-made" and all dishes are plentiful and tasty.The cooking and wait staff are pleasant and friendly, and the service is excellent. An added bonus to the outdoor eating is the presence of turtles of various sizes which wander around freely and enjoy being hand-fed lettuce which is happily provided by the restaurant staff.Not a high end restaurant, but good for casual dining.Recommended.

We visited the place for a coffee with my wife. Ordered a toast and two freddo espressos and left having paid â¬10!!! The price was too high without gaining anything. Just a caffee in Sparta Square.

A fantastic culinary experience out of nowhere! Went there for an unplanned dinner with the family on our Spartan pilgrimage and liked it so much that went there again for brunch the next day, skipping our hotel breakfast. Best pancakes we ever tasted. Best pulled pork on a pretzel bun you have ever tasted. And the list goes on. We are stopping again on our way back

Although the food was good, the place had character and the scenery was great, I think it could do better with the music, the cleanliness of the cutlery and the noise/behavior of some residents. Also, it was a bit pricey for what it offered.P.S. The staff was very helpful.

Our third annual visit and we still think itâs the best restaurant in Sparti. The location is charming, especially at night, the food is excellent and something different from the traditional taverna style. The servings are just right for two people instead of the mega plates elsewhere. Sometimes there is good live music too; we highly recommend this place.

Visited 2 times and we left really happy. The owner is friendly and really welcoming, the place looks authentic, the food is fresh and the ingredients are all sourced locally. Ask for bruschetta bread with real salt, oregano and greek olive oil, if you are lucky and you can find any left try the lamb. OMG IT is AMAZING, with potatoes and artichokes. We just say, what food! Feta in oven with tomato, green peppers and red onions. Pork with yogurt and smoked cheese and sausage with chopped orange. Everything was delicious, tasted Greek but still different.The restaurant was cozy and the staff pleasant.

We had a very friendly waiter. Food was good but nothing really really super spectacular. We had humus and cheese as entrees and a large mixed grill for main. For three this was more than enough as the portions are quite big.
