Ate here on a Sunday evening. Quiet and had nice view of the Aegean looking east. The risotto was excellent. I couldn't have been more pleased. I would think this place is much more busy in season and a reservation would be necessary.Dear Mr/Mrs Deadelf,Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! This restaurant came recommended & I can see why. Great food, with an amazing view over the Caldera sunset. Staff were friendly and professional. Can recommend the squid and the prawns for starter. All good beautifully presented and waiter had a good knowledge of wine. Not cheap but worth it for a special event

My wife and I (Both with Greek background) have been in Santorini for a week now and have been struggling to find some authentic Greek restaurant food that doesnât break the bank. I read a few reviews about Kira Niki and I thought letâs try it out. Tonight we ordered a delivery from Kira Niki Tavern and we were both transported back to our grandmothers house enjoying a family cooked amazing meal. The Baked feta was outstanding, tasting of fresh ingredients and amazing quality. Then came the Mousaka, stuffed burger (bifteki) and the pork souvlaki and honestly it was exactly (if not better) than a home cooked meal from our own family. I am so happy and honoured to have enjoyed such an amazing meal that was obviously cooked with so much love and passion that it tasted like we were back home with our families! We will be back to this restaurant every single time we return to SantoriniYummm x 1 million, if you want honest, authentic, well priced food, donât even hesitate, this is the only place for you!

We ate here twice, eventually. This place is SO popular on the websites that were it 10x the size they couldnât accommodate the people who want to eat here. This husband and wife team serve up fabulous food, at incredible prices. On top of which, they serve unpretentious but perfectly sinkable wine at â¬14 per LITRE!! Oh, and then they give you divine creme anglais filled baklave as a dessert for free. Costas quietly visits the market each day & prepares every dish to order, whilst his wife is anything but quiet at the front of house. She laughs & banters with her guests. Her crazy but infectious warmth may intimidate the shy, but if you can embrace her she will look after you beautifully. We had halloumi with marmalade, cheese pies, meatballs, fried tomato balls, the triple souvlaki and best of all.. the grilled seafood plate. I have NEVER (Iâm a Yorkshireman) tipped 25% of the bill, but these two deserved every euro. Just remember... BOOK!!! Or youâll be eating elsewhere with a glum face!!

After reading reviews on the restaurant we came here on our last night out in Santorini. It was pretty empty when we arrived just after sunset 6.30pm October. We ate moussaka and homemade burgers, both really delicious. I didn't want to finish the moussaka. Given desert wine free, which is always a nice touch. By the time we'd finished the meal the restaurant was very busy. Very nice staff and not over priced like some of the others nearby.

The restaurant doesnât have a view apart from the street, but it is so tastefully decorated with embroidered tablecloths, pot plants and flowers that you donât notice it.We were quickly shown to a nice comfortable side table and shown the menu. Service was attentive at first but got slower as the restaurant filled up. Food was delicious- loved the calamari and the pork signature dish. We shared 500mls of house white which was very acceptable. Desserts were delicious. Try the chocolate soufflé or the sticky orange cake with lemon sorbet. A wonderful night for our last night on Santorini, and just down the road from our hotel Albatros. Prices were also slightly cheaper than Fira.

We went there for my friend's birthday and really enjoyed our night in scala. The food was really good and anesiss who served us was an incredible waiter. He even brought a birthday waffle courtesy of the house for the birthday girl,which by the way was super delicious. I had the hummus octopus which was superb as well. Would definitely go again!Thank you Anesiss!

This is a simple but cosy place, staff are very friendly and takes well care of you.We had a light dinner with grilled shrimps, which was tasty, the restaurant has a great choice of fresh fish.We sat on the edge of waterfront which was very nice in the sunset.It is a bit difficult to reach the old port, cable car is 12⬠each way but there are huge queues when passengers are going to and from the cruise ships, the alternative is to walk climb 600 stairs....

I really loved this place. Very low key and seemingly authentic and within easy walking distance from the main square in Fira. Itâs a great way to sample lots of dishes; Firaâs version of small plates (although be warned: the portions are generous). I was here late in the season so the âmainâ menu wasnât available but there were plenty of options nevertheless. I love the Greek restaurant tradition of a complimentary small dessert and/or aperitif to end the meal. Lovely!

We ate here several times during our stay and stopped off for morning coffee daily! The atmosphere is informal and friendly with excellent quick service. The staff remembered us after the first couple of visits and were always very welcoming and chatty. The food is delicious. They have some of the local dishes; fava, tomato fritters etc and great menu of main courses. Every day there are specials. I had grilled fish twice and it was excellent on both occasions. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
