Esker Hills, Tullamore, Co. Offaly is regarded as one of Ireland's leading inland golf courses. It is a challenging championship golf course where no two holes are remotely alike. It is noted for its distinct links feel, superb sand-based greens, all-year playability and warm welcome.Awarded "Irelands Bestest Hidden Gem" in Leinster at The Golfers Guide To Ireland Awards 2012.

Headfort Golf Club is an outstanding 36 hole parkland complex dominated by magnificent specimen trees and river scenery. Both courses take full advantage of the natural beauty of one of Ireland's oldest and finest estates. Located near the picturesque heritage town of Kells in County Meath, it is easily accessible via Exit 10 of the M3 motorway (35 minutes drive from Dublin) "It's the finest piece of land I have worked with and could host the Irish Open without any trouble," said Christy O'Connor Jr. New Course designer and Ryder Cup hero. There is a Proshop on site offering golf equipment and hire and lessons with a professional. The Clubhouse has an extensive restaurant and bar and is also available for private functions. In the absence of being able to do indoor dining with that amazing view, Arklow Golf Club are doing delivery or pickup! We had a lovely dinner from there today! We had a veggie lasagna and Salmon, it was delicious, good price and good service on pick up. We will definitely be ordering from there again!

Masterfully designed, magnificently maintained, and perfectly set within the glorious estate of one of Europe’s most spectacular manor house hotels, The Golf Course at Adare Manor is ready to take its place among the best championship courses anywhere. Fully redesigned and rebuilt in 2016-2017 to championship-worthy specifications, with the very latest in course technology and construction methods, The Golf Course at Adare Manor offers a spectacular golfing experience amid the breath-taking surroundings of our parkland estate.
I have played numerous courses throughout the world and some very decent ones too: Arabella and Pinicle Point South Africa, Reunion Resort Florida US King's Barns Scotland Ocean Club Bahamas, K-Club Waterville European Club Ireland. All amazing courses but none of them anyway close to the golfing experience we enjoyed at the Golf Course at Adare Manor. 55 greenkeepers are employed to keep this fantastic course in the immaculate condition it is set. Greens and Bunkers are ventilated, fairways are better than your carpets at home (no rough on the course!!). Nothing is left to coincidence, everything manicured to perfection. Each hole has its own character, its own "risk and reward shot", greens have huge run-offs giving them an exciting edge. The Irish wind also makes it an extra challenge. We were a 1, 10, 12 and 15 HCP and unanimously agreed that this was the best course we have ever played

Played on a gorgeous December day. Course in fabulous condition after a wet November. Play as you lie. That doesn't happen on many courses around Ireland at this time of year. Eighteen great holes. Back nine is just fabulous. Best course I've ever played. Lovely greeting at the clubhouse.

Cork Golf Club is located at Little Island close to Cork City. This championship golf course is routed through exceptional golfing terrain incorporating old limestone quarries and the inner reaches of Cork Harbour. Scenically situated in Cork Harbour, the Club has hosted many major amateur and professional Championships over the years including the Irish Open. Built on free-draining limestone, the course presents a crisp heath-like playing surface similar to links. Cork Golf Club has many unusual features, not least holes 6-10 which are set in a disused limestone quarry. The scenery and variety are an added bonus and they all combine to make Cork Golf Club a true golfing challenge.

Stunning! Count myself so lucky to have played this magical course ( Druid’s Glen) kept in immaculate condition throughout. Beautiful surroundings, mature trees, flowering bushes, water ???? and spectacular views. Uplifting for the soul even if the course won ( easily) on the day. A special word of thanks to Patrick Geraghty PGA who sorted out some of my swing problems the following day...... he is very reassuring, easy to understand, sorts the problem and had me back on track very quickly. Highly recommended.
