I've never experienced a full tea service before; and now I can't believe I've missed out on this my whole life! My friend and I chose the Brian Edward's Royal Afternoon Tea at the Tavern, and it was splendid. As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted by the cheery decor. All Things Tea is decorated with adorable mismatched antique furniture and tea sets, as well as colorful artwork and crystal chandeliers. For a full tea service, you book and pay at least 24 hours in advance. Our service included scones, Devonshire cream, lemon curd, strawberry jam, savory finger sandwiches, assorted deserts, a cup of soup, a bottomless pot of tea, and a glass of champagne to top it all off. Since the focus was mainly on tea, I wasn't expecting a lot of the food and champagne. However, everything was absolutely delicious. I'm not a big fan of champagne, but it was divine. The people working there were warm and welcoming. They even have packages for kids! I would recommend this for a fun get together with friends and family, or even a unique date idea! I'll be back for sure.

Bradley's Country Store. Been visiting since I was a kid. Social Security is only six years away. And it's everything remembered, including the Grape Nehi and sausages. Grab a rocking chair on the front porch, listen to the breeze, enjoy the handcrafted perfection in a soft white bun. Life is too precious to skip visiting.
