As usual I booked my ski hire in advance via Ski Set and without any prior knowledge of the various associated ski hire shops in Val d’Isere, choosing Hors Limites based on a combination of competitive pricing and closeness to our accommodation and the lifts. I immediately found the service to be well above standard in every way. Aside from providing me with excellent equipment, the staff were super helpful and offered to keep both mine and my mother’s boots and skis in the store, even though we had only hired one pair of skis and poles between us, in order to save us a significant walk from our accommodation. They also seemed to have a sixth sense as to when we were arriving and had our gear waiting for us. The cherry on the cake was their helping my mum get her ski boots on and off which she thought was absolutely wonderful. FinallyI can also confirm that, based on the excellent job done on y mother’s skis, their ski service is both top quality and well priced. In summary, I would happily recommend Hors Limites to anyone and will definitely be using them the next time I’m in Val d’Isere. Thanks guys!
