As a chocaholic, I love exploring good chocolatiers but was disappointed in the flavours of what I bought from CC's shop. However, this trip, I discovered La Maison de Chocolat and my faith in Paris chocolatiers was renewed. The dark chocolate with fresh mint leaf and the rum soaked raisin chocolates were outstanding for fresh, strong genuine flavour. This is the chocolate shop I'll head for in future.

Hermes

Home of the famous Birkin bag, the Hermes flagship offers the widest selection on the planet. But if you want to purchase one of these iconic sacs, arrive well before the 10:30 a.M. Opening time.

We’ve been visiting Paris every 2-3 years with my shopping list including French luxury leather goods. This time, I decided it’s for Hermes. Our hotels for the past 4-5 times were in the neighborhood. Hermes FSH is just around the corner made it very easy for us to stop by. I made appointment online after reading and watching several vlog and tips, all rejected. We decided to stop by anyway since I wanted to get a belt for my husband. Well, I met a gentleman standing right at the front door. I wanted to try anyway so I asked if they have any cancellations. We’re lucky, there’s a SA that could see us in 15 min! The best part of this very first official visit to the leather department was I got offer for a bag...... no pressure at all to buy other things. No purchase history, just a few things I normally buy for my husband. This time, it’s for myself and wonderful memories at the flagship store. We ended up going back to the store several times during this trip anyway to get some other things. Love this store.
