Słubice [swuˈbʲit͡sɛ] (German Dammvorstadt) is a border town in the Lubusz Voivodeship of western Poland. Located on the Oder river, directly opposite the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany, of which it was a part until 1945 (as Dammvorstadt). At the 2011 census, the town had a total population of 18,000 (urban agglomeration Słubice-Frankfurt 85,000). Previously located in the Gorzów Wielkopolski Voivodeship (1975–1998), the town is currently the capital of Słubice County and the administrative seat of the Gmina Słubice.

Bei unserem Besuch sicherten wir uns ein schönes Plätzchen auf der Terrasse. Eine nette Kellnerin brachte uns die Karte, die recht übersichtlich angelegt ist. Das von uns georderte Essen schmeckte sehr gut, die Preise sind moderat, also bei unserem Besuch des Kometen war alles bestens.

Bin dort auf Empfehlung eines Kumpels mal zum Mittagessen hingegangen. In der Regel gibt es dort zwei Essen zur Auswahl. Gute Hausmannskost, groÃe Portionen, alles zum fairen Preis. Bei meinem Besuch waren viele Handwerker und ältere Leute da, die sich ihr Essen schmecken lieÃen.

Unser Auffenthalt war in einer schönen Atmosphäre und mit einen herrlichen Blick auf die Oder. Das Personal war nett und schnell. ist eher zum Kaffeetrinken geeignet oder wenn man Abend einen gemütlich Drink zu sich nehmen will.

Waren mal wieder im Diebels um ein paar Bier zu trinken und zu quatschen. Personal sehr freundlich, Bierpreise ok, im TV lief FuÃball, also alles bestens bei unserem Besuch.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit freundlichem Service. Im Freien befinden sich einzelne Tische - wirklich schön. Vor dem Haus eine Tram-Haltestelle, perfekt!

After a short walk from the hotel, once inside an attractive outdoor table was selected in the airy well ventilated courtyard on this hot and sunny evening. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. A nice meal of Asparagus Soup then Pork Schnitzel and boiled potatoes, all washed down with some local draft beer was enjoyed in these pleasant, relaxing surroundings.

Went there very late around 10PM, and the place was empty. A nice woman took our orders.I ordered a beef fillet, medium-rare, like always and as I read somewhere "that the measure of a good restaurant is the quality of their House wine" I had a glas of that. My colleagues had salad. I think that the waiting time was a bit too long considering we were the only people there. I am guessing they were preparing to close or something. Because we were late.Anyway, the food came perfectly cooked and nicely prepared. I enjoyed every bite of it and the wine was pretty good also. The salads were huge and my colleagues were also very happy with it. The atmosphere was very nice, partly because it was quiet and we were the only ones there. Price was also fair for this kind of food, so I walked out a very happy customer.

I visited Frankfurt (Oder) with my mom on a German holiday when everything was closed. It was a chilly day so we stopped by the Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus for coffee to warm up. I am glad we did. All we had was strudel and coffee, so I can't speak to the whole menu, but the strudel was excellent, as was the service.
