Nach einer gastronomischen Enttäuschung in der näheren Umgebung waren wir angenehm überrascht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auf der eher angenehm kleinen Speisekarte fand sich rasch etwas mit fränkischem Einschlag. Das Essen war dann auch geschmacklich und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir würden wieder dort essen gehen.

the only restaurant open mid October on a great sunny day at the Hahnenkamm mountain.located near the top mountain station. terrace gives a nice view south and west side.one staff member was rather pushing to sell. food was nice (Kaiserschmarrn), beer was tasty. overall positive experience

So my meal was spoiled by a rather testy waiter who dumped a full on glass of ice coffee (which in Austria means something closer to a milkshake with a huge amount of whipped cream) all over me. There was an apology, of sorts, but no adjustment to the bill. He did bring me a wet rag and a fresh ice coffee.The service was rather curt in advance of this, and the food was nothing exceptional.Go someplace else.

This is a fantastic place at the end of a reasonable walk. The "Alm" itself is situated in Austrain territory and just before the restaurant is reached, one crosses the border, noticable by a small sign. We just came from the Weissensee, but the Alat Lake is the next place to park ones car and go from there. The walk from the Alat Lake to the Saloberalm is around 45 minutes - but it is steep! Of course, this place can be reached from other hiking trails in the area - for the more serious hikers - but for us this was just enough.Food and drinks are very nice and the selection of austrain desserts should not be missed.

Après une randonnée a travers la montagne, la frauenseestube est un havre sympathique. On y mange des plats typiques : wurtsalad 6,90⬠(lamelles de cervelas, oignons, cornichons, fromage type emmental en lamelle), specksuppe 4,60⬠(très bon bouillon avec une boule de viande reconstituée), part de tarte 2,80 ⬠(choco cerise tres bon, ou tarte au fromage). D autres plats et boissons chaudes ou froides complètent la carte. Le cadre du chalet en bois et extérieur sont très jolis.

Direkt neben dem Campingplatz gelegen und in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Abends unbedingt Tisch reservieren am Wochenende.Leckere Tiroler Gerichte (Kaspressknödel, Käse-Wein-Schaumsuppe, groÃe Schnitzelplatte auf Vorbestellung) zu angemessenen Preisen und Topqualität. Eigene Sennerei/Käserei angeschlossen, in der man leckeren Bergkäse kaufen kann.Sehr nette Bedienung, die auf Zack ist.

Auf dem Weg nach Reutte oder weiter auf Fern- oder Arlbergpass sollte man hier unbedingt Station machen! Wir waren schon öfters da und jetzt nach Umbau und VergröÃerung ist das Wichtigste so geblieben, wie es war: Sehr gutes regionales Essen ( Kaiserschmarren *****) sehr freundliche Gastgeber und Bedienung! Und trotz VergröÃerung: Die Almathmosphäre ist schon geblieben!

My son and I decided upon this small pub/restaurant based upon TA reviews, and we made a great decision. The food was excellent, plentiful, and really inexpensive. There was only one person working when we were there, but the place is very small (5 or 6 tables plus a small bar) and he had no trouble providing good service. He didn't speak English, but there is an English version of the menu he was able to provide. We had the schnitzel and the grilled meat dinner respectively. Both meals gave a ton of meat, and both came with a beautiful salad and a huge pile of fries (potato salad was available as well). We left stuffed, but very happy.This restaurant is a bit outside of Reutte, but is only a couple minutes drive. If you want simple, authentic Austrian food for a very reasonable price, you won't go wrong here.

This hotel is a class act from start to finish. Located in a scenic area with wonderful views. The rooms are modern and impeccably clean. The breakfast was as good as will be found. Healthy food or delectable treats side by side. The staff treated us royally and we would love to come back. There is a community swimming pool a short walk away and hiking everywhere. There are washers and dryers for your convenience with an ironing board and iron in the laundry room. The natives are friendly!
