Marlies both checked us into the hotel (modern, small, nice breakfast) and was our waitress at the restaurant.She combined personal service and professionalism to a perfect degree. You know when you come home after a vacation and you have an anecdote about someone special you met...Marlies is our anecdote.The steak was great with wonderful side dishes and dessert. And so convenient to charge to our room.When you go, please say "hi" to Marlies for us.

Etwas versteckt an der HauptstraÃe in Krauchenwies befindet sich eine Besenwirtschaft. Die Familie Enzenross serviert hofeigene Produkte zu einem günstigen Preis.Das Lokal ist rustikal eingerichtet und im Sommer gibt es einen schönen Biergarten im Hof.

Having left Tuttlingen on Eurovelo 6 at 7.30 on Sunday this was the first place open. Cakes absolutely delicious coffee would appeal to the Americans excellent friendly service with great views.

In our party of eight persons, everyone ordered an appetizer and a unique entree. The appetizers arrived quite quickly after we ordered and were fresh and tasty. The entrees were also delivered in a timely manner and were perfectly seasoned. The extensive menu included local favourites, specialties of the chef as well as traditional meals. We will definitely return!

Von auÃen unscheinbares Gebäude/Pension/Restaurant wird von sehr engagierten und tüchtigen Leuten mit Liebe zum Detail geführt.Im Rahmen einer mehrtätigen Radtour fanden wir hier ein nettes, schlichtes Zimmer mit allem Nötigen und einem sehr sauberen, gepflegten Badezimmer.Fahrradschuppen vorhanden.Ein tolles Frühstück wurde vom Hausherrn individuell für uns samt frischem Gebäck vom Nachbarort zusammen gestellt.Abendessen im Haus sensationell gut! Besonders für sein Fleisch und Steaks bekannt, gibt es auch sehr gute örtliche Spezialitäten!

Durch eine spontane Campingaktion unserer Tochter mit Freundinen hat es uns nach Messkirch verschlagen, und wir waren begeistert. Falls unseren Girlies das Wetter einen Strich durch das Campingwochenenden machen sollte haben wir uns als Rückversicherung Im Rumpelstilzchen ein Ferienhaus mit Frühstück angemietet.Die Wirtsleute sind absolut liebenswert und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück wir nicht im Restaurant serviert sonder einzeln in der Ferienwohnung direkt serviert. Das ist wie im Grandhotel.Die Preise sind mehr als human und im Restaurant konnten wir herrlich urig am Buffet teilnehmen.Durch einen Wolkenbruch mussten wir den Zeltplatz tatsächlich überraschend räumen und die Wirtin hat spontan noch eine komplette Wohnung hergerichtet. Von so viel Fürsorge und Hilfsbereitschaft waren wir echt begeistert.Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

I loved the food at this place. We were here for Spargel season (white Asparagus) and ate here a few nights. The food was ample and the service great. If in the area, I would eat dinner here again. The place is very old looking inside, but to me, it's part of the culture. If you are looking for good, local Baden food, this is a place you want to try.

The food is reasonable but too expensive, complicated way of indicating prices, probably to fool the customer, a schnitzel with fries and salad is not 9 euros but 15 euros.There is no variation in the menu, it has been the same for years.Unfriendly service, one example: one customer broke a table decoration (probably bought at the ¨action¨) instead of solving the problem elegantly, the owner shouted at the customer.The design is very ¨wannabee¨ and offcourse not the ¨real thing¨ The owner is very ¨geizig¨I recommand avoiding Froben and instead go to the Adler in Leitishofen (best choice!, good restaurant, the food is much better and the professional staff is very friendly)The Adler is Messkirch is also a better place to go than Froben.
